Donald J. Dull, 85, of Greenville, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
He was born in Arcanum, son of the late Cletus J. and Myrtle M (Rose) Dull. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Blanche M. Neff and Helen Margerum.
Don was retired from farming and was a self-employed owner of an electrical and insulation business.
He was a member of the Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church. A former member of the Wayne Trail Grange and a former Scout Master for Troop 276 of South School in Greenville. He was a volunteer at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, D. Imogene (Schlechty), whom he married on September 7, 1946; children, Captain Timothy J. (Carole) Dull of Virginia Beach, VA, Thomas C. Dull of Los Angels, CA, Terry L. (Mindy) Dull of Brookville, OH, Theodore (Phyllis) Dull of Dallas, TX and Tamara J. (Daryl) Printz of Arcanum; grandchildren, Jennifer, Josh, Elizabeth, Jeremiah, Deanna, Darren and Daniel; 5 great grandchildren; two brothers Howard Dull of Ocela, FL and Warren C. Dull of Greenville; and a sister, Betty Patterson of Brookville.
Private services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Chaplain Bob Bitner officiating. Burial with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery.
There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given the Resident's Aid Fund at the Brethren Retirement Community.
