Michael Rihm, 59, of Greenville went to be with God on Saturday, January 30, 2010. He was the most amazing man who touched many lives.
Michael is survived by his wife: Connie Rihm; his children: Laura (Joel) Schaefer, Lisa (John) Morris and Adam (Sarah) Rihm; mother: Mary Rihm; mother in law: Mary Brinley; his brother: Doug (Joyce) Rihm and sister: Roxann (Dan) Leeper; brother in law: Steve (Kelly) Brinley; sister in law: Diana (Mike) Floyd; grandchildren: Kayla, Kody, Evan, Toni, Kaysi, Brandon, and Payton; step-grandchildren: Robert, Leslie, Alaina, Jason, Natalie, Crystal, Gavin, Kylee, Hope, Jordan, Sam and Jacob; great grandchildren: Hayli and Carson. He was an uncle to ten children and a great uncle to thirteen. Michael was preceded in death by his father: William Rihm and his father in law: Raymond Brinley Jr.
He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Capital University in 1997 receiving a Bachelors degree. He retired from Honewell in 2005 after thirty four years of service.
Michael loved people and touched many lives as a husband, son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and mentor. He was his family's guiding light with a love that was bigger than life.
Private funeral services will be held with burial at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Akron Children’s Hospital and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Arrangements are in care of the Zechar Bailey funeral home.
