Hershel McIntosh age 72 of Arcanum, Ohio passed away on Wednesday February 10, 2010. He was born March 21, 1937 in Booneville, Kentucky, the son of Carman (Murral) McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky and the late Jeff McIntosh.
He was a member of Covenant Baptist Church and the Dayton Northwest Camp of Gideon International. He was employed 25 years at Dayton Press and retired from Arcanum Welding.
He is preceded in death by his father; Great Grandson: Jereme Kreitzer; Brothers: Ed & Ted McIntosh.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years Grace (Fields) McIntosh of Arcanum; Daughters & sons in law: Wanda & Jerry Fitzpatrick of Springfield, Ohio, Linda & Doug Daniels of Springfield, Ohio; Grandchildren & spouses: Jennifer & Jimmy Williams, Joe Kreitzer, Steve & Susan Kreitzer, Ray Cordell, Rick Cordell; Great Grandchildren & Spouse: Matthew & Leslie Rutherford, Eric Rutherford, Cameron Cordell, Steven Kreitzer, Cara Kreitzer, Isaac Kreitzer, Isaiah Kreitzer; Great great granddaughter: Emmy Rutherford; Brothers: Freddie McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky, Donald McIntosh of Booneville, Kentucky; and many friends and relatives who are left to morn his death.
Services will be held on Monday February 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor William Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday February 14, 2010 and 1 hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Covenant Baptist Church 3424 Old Salem Road, Dayton, Ohio 45415.
