Mrs. Lenore F. (Fourman) Carr, 97 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, February 12, 2010 at 10:30 AM at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville, Ohio. She was born on December 30, 1912 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Clifford & Mable (Moses) Fourman.
Lenore was a homemaker and a nurse by profession. She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church and Elite Club. She was an avid bridge player, loved music and reading and really enjoyed traveling.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Merton Carr.
She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Jane & Robert Williamson of Greenville, Ohio; son and daughter in law, Richard & Peggy Carr of Brigham City, Utah; grandchildren, Pamela Turner, Richard (Gwen) Carr Jr., Jennifer Dominquez, Tim (Pam) McNutt and Carol Leatherman; and 9 great grandchildren.
There will be a service held on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 131 E. 4th St., Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at church. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville.
Memorial contributions can be given to the St. Paul Lutheran Church.
