John was retired as a truck driver for the Michael Brehm Trucking Company of Arcanum, Ohio.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Martha.
John is survived by his wife of 31 years, Lesa J. (Sleppy) Eberhart of Union City, Ohio. Also son Robert Elsner of Union City; grandchildren Alycia Saunder, Edward Saunder, Angel Elsner, Autumn Elsner, Austin Romer and Alexander Elfritz. Also a sister June Nelson of Pennsylvania and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at the Convenience of the Family.
