Vicki Stickel, age 83, of Greenville, Ohio, and formerly of Carshalton Surrey, England, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 9:22 AM at the Sterling House, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on January 25, 1928 in Carshalton Surrey, England.
Vicki was a homemaker who also worked as an entertainer in the Theater and Circus business. She was a member of the Darke County Republican Women’s Club where she served as Vice President for many years and chaired on the Annual Lincoln Day and Republican Fair Tent committees. She was also elected and served on the Darke County Republican Central Community. Vicki was a member of an English Club in Dayton, Ohio, and Elks in Greenville.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her 2nd husband, Edwin Brooks Stickel; and brother, Peter Lambourne.
She is survived by her daughters and son in law, Cheryl & Charles Bulcher of Greenville and Rebecca Willemin of Mishawaka, Indiana; 4 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; her 2nd husband’s children and grandchildren, Philip & Renee Stickel of Russia, Ohio, Paul & Sherri Stickel of Shirley, Indiana, Jane Hammaker of Greenville, Ohio, and Diane & Jack Baker of Arcanum, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Ted Forward of England; 1 niece and 1 nephew.
There will be a service held on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
