Martha formerly worked at Rossburg Cannery, Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville, and farmed. Martha was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Versailles, where she was very active. She was also a member of Wayne Grange and a former member of Wayne Willing Workers.
In addition to her parents, Martha is also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Routson on March 30, 1983 whom she married June 30, 1935; and twin brothers, Chester and Lester McKinney.
Martha is survived by a daughter & son-in-law, Elaine & Harold Langston Jr. of Versailles; grandchildren, Larry & Karen Langston, Scott & Lynn Langston, Jeff & Cindy Langston, and Laura & Joe Gigandet; great grandchildren, Steve Langston, Ryan Langston, Devin Langston, Jaime Quatman, Josh Langston, Danielle Langston, Kristin Langston, Mitch Gigandet, Brett Gigandet, Sarah Gigandet, and Melissa Gigandet; and a great great grandson, Bear Quatman.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church 204 East Wood Street Versailles with Pastor Keith Falk officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles and Saturday morning from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or Versailles Emergency Medical Services.
