Steve is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dianne Kelly Blocher whom he married on September 1, 1972; sons, Matthew Aaron (Lyndie Nilsen) Blocher of Greenville, Nicholas Ryan (Elizabeth Wetzel) Blocher of Cincinnati and Christopher Hugh (Michelle Hart) Blocher of Greenville; and grandchildren, Yosi Nilsen and Addison Hart.
Steve was the owner and operator of Blocher Enterprises Inc. and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, Ohio. He loved music was a volunteer music teacher at St. Mary’s Catholic School. He also enjoyed writing and reading.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 233 W. 3rd St., Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. David Kelly celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 5-8 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
A Rosary Service will be held on Monday immediately following the visitation at the funeral home.
