Eleanor Kimball went to heaven on July 20, 2010. Formerly of Greenville, Ohio, Eleanor resided at The Palms of St Lucie West in Port St Lucie, Florida. She was born on April 13, 1923, to Roy and Mary Brooks in Columbus, Ohio. Eleanor served as a Marine in World II. She is survived by her family who will dearly miss her. Her nieces include Mrs. John (Laura) Klosterman, Port St Lucie, Florida, and Mrs. Todd (Jennifer) Powell, Fairburn, Georgia. She is also survived by her great nieces Ana Grace and Isabella and her great nephew Diego, who were so very special to her. Eleanor is preceded in death by her son, Rob, her parents, and her brothers, Bob and Bruce.
Eleanor loves Jesus and her desire was that all would come to know Him as their Savior. She attended Sunlight Community Church in Port St Lucie.
Eleanor was cared for recently by Treasure Coast Hospice. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Treasure Coast Hospice or Sunlight Community Church.
Services will be held at a later date at The Palms with Pastor Scott VanderPloeg officiating.
Zechar-Bailey Funeral Home and Aycock Funeral Home have been entrusted with the services.
