Opal N. Ganger, 97, of Greenville, died Tuesday Morning, July 27, 2010 at the Brethren Retirement Community. She was a former resident of Hursh Rd., Arcanum. Mrs. Ganger was born in Montgomery County on May 14, 1913, the daughter of the late Mose J. and Velma (Royer) Eby. She was a member of the Castine Church of the Brethren. Opal was preceded in death by her husband Henry D. Ganger, who died August 31, 1980, Infant son Eldon Ganger, and Brother Leonard Eby and a good and long time friend Katheryn Eyer. She is survived by Daughter Ruth Ann Crowell and husband Larry of Englewood; Sons Arthur Dwaine Ganger and wife Barbara and Dale Ganger and wife Barbara both of Arcanum; seven grand children Randy (Mary) Ganger, Scott (Peggy) Ganger, Robert (Diane) Ferrer, Jeff (Brooke) Crowell, Janelle (Geoff) Dawson, Beth (James) Kessler, and Craig (Miranda) Ganger; 18 Great Grandchildren; 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 29, 2010 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Pastor Brian Delk officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 5 - 7 PM at the funeral home. Committal service and burial will be held 10:00 AM Friday in Bethel Cemetery Phillipsburg.
