Mrs. Mildred I. (Winn) Labig, age 88 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday July 18, 2010 at 2:20 AM at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. She was born August 28, 1921 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Richard & Edith (Ramsey) Winn. She was the secretary at E.U.M. Church for 22 years. She was a member of E.U.M. Church, a very active member of Greenville Area Senior Citizens, and she was a 1939 graduate of Greenville Senior High.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Step Father: Harold G. Feierstein; Husband of 68 years Stanley Richard Labig whom passed away May 5, 2010; Son: James Richard Labig; Step Brother: Eugene Feierstein.
She is survived by her Sons: John Labig of Greenville, Joel Labig of Colville, Washington; Sister & brother in law: Marjorie & Joe Almonrode of Saratoga, Indiana; Step Brothers & sister in law: Richard Feierstein of Troy, Ohio, Vernon & Barb Feierstein of Jacksonville, Florida; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Services will be held on Monday July 26, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. John McRoberts & Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday July 25, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the donor’s choice.
