Mrs. Helen Onea Anders-Reeves, age 98 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 7:55 P.M. Monday July 12, 2010 at the Brethren Retirement Center of Greenville. Helen was born March 10, 1912 in Randolph County Indiana. She was the daughter of the late Glen and Bessie (Brown) Brown.
Helen retired in 1974 as a Licensed Practical Nurse having worked for more than 10 years at the V.A. Hospital of Ft. Wayne, Ind. She was also a member of the Mount Zion Church in Winchester, Ind.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her lst husband—Paul Anders, 2nd husband—Charles Reeves, daughter Jeannine Fisher May 13, 2010, a brother in infancy, sons in law—Bob Ross and Ted Fisher and brother in law Ed Flora.
Helen is survived by a daughter Betty Ross of Greenville, step daughter and spouse Janet “Jan” & Bob Byrum of Casa Grande, Arizona, grandchildren and spouses Mike & Cathy Ross, Jackie Henn, Robyn & Dean Banter, John & Karen Ross, Brian & Lisa Fisher, Jody & Steve Oberer and Leanne & Scott Goble, step granddaughter Pam Milligan, numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, a sister Leona Flora of Warren, Ind., 1 niece and 1 nephew.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Thursday July 15, 2010 at the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Esther Kershaw officiating. Burial will follow in the Lisbon Cemetery Union City, Indiana. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 A.M. until time of the services in the funeral home.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to Hospice of Darke County or the Brethren Retirement Community Resident’s Aid Fund.
