Virginia R. “Ginny” McClurg (May 17, 2016)

Virginia R. “Ginny” McClurg age 72, of Versailles, Ohio passed away at 8:41 P.M. on Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. Ginny was born December 7, 1943 in St. Anthony, Ohio to the late Edmund & Rosella (Uleman) Muhlenkamp.

Ginny is survived by her husband, Patrick W. McClurg whom she married April 4, 1964; children, Scott & Rhonda McClurg of Columbus, Denise Rinderle of Versailles, Renee McClurg of Versailles and James & Jamie McClurg of North Star; grandchildren, Ryan McClurg, Colin McClurg, Seth Rinderle, Morgan Rinderle, Marissa McClurg, Cassidy McClurg, Grant McClurg and Jacob McClurg; brothers & sisters, Don & Dorothy Muhlenkamp of Ft. Recovery, Thelma & Dave Barga of North Star, Ruth Hardin of Sarasota, Florida, Kenneth Muhlenkamp of Ft. Recovery, Marge Paulus of Celina, Mary & Carl Obringer of Ft. Recovery, David & Marcia Muhlenkamp of Ft. Recovery, Connie Andrus of Columbus, Judy & Jerry Schulze of Celina; in-laws, Steve & Marie McClurg of Chickasaw, Tom & Marilyn McClurg of Tipp City, Susie & Harold Hemmelgarn of New Bremen, Ann & Bill Mangen of Montezuma, Ed & Rosie McClurg of St. Sebastian, Dave & Wendy McClurg of Bradenton, Florida, Dean & Darlene McClurg of Tipp City, Mary & Larry Eyink of Chickasaw, Tony & Judy McClurg of Tipp City, Teresa & Jim Wente of New Bremen, Donna & Gary Mix of Greenville and Rita & John Schemmel of Osgood; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ginny was also preceded in death by sisters, Doris Schafer, Vera Alig and Alice Muhlenkamp in infancy; brothers-in-law, Jerry Schafer, Don Alig, Jack Hardin, James Paulus and Tom Andrus; and sister-in-law, Carolyn Muhlenkamp.

Ginny was a homemaker. She formerly worked at AVI Food Service and Versailles Ace Hardware. Ginny was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles with Rev. Fr. James Simons celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles.
