Betty J. Berg, 86, of Eaton, formerly West Manchester, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2010 at Vitas Hospice, Dayton. Mrs. Berg was born in West Manchester, Ohio on July 14, 1924, the daughter of the late Harry M. and Lucille (Herkins) DeCamp. She was a member of the former Castine United Methodist Church. Betty was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Berg, who died June 19, 1992. Betty is survived by her very special cousin Angie and Darrell Bryant and their daughters Abbie and Katie of Eaton; Sister-in- Law Joyce Crabb of Superior, Montana; Cousins Virginia (Jesse) Fourman, Omer (Janice) Holsapple, Pat (Larry) Teaford; Special friends Larry and Sharon O'Dell; and many other numerous cousins and friends. She will be forever loved and missed. Funeral Services will be held 11:30 AM on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with her cousin, Rev Steven Wigger officiating. Burial will follow in Castine Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Thursday 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial contributions to Vitas Hospice, Dayton, Ohio.
