Mary E. Allread, 97, of Greenville, passed away Monday afternoon, September 6, 2010 at the Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born March 14, 1913 in Darke County. She was preceded in death by a son, Roger Allread and a brother, James Armacost.
A homemaker, Mary had worked for the Community Action Partnership of Darke County and was a member of the Trinity Wesleyan Church in Greenville.
She is survived by her children, Richard (Phyllis) Allread and Evelyn Grosch both of Greenville; grandchildren, Shelley Miller, Shawn Allread, Mindy Allread, Laurie Allread, Darrell Grosch and Gary Grosch; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, September 9 at the Abbottsville Cemetery with the Rev. Elwood Stuart officiating.
There will be no public visitation.
Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
