Marlene Mabel (Moore) Fowble, 89, of Greenville passed away on September 9, 2010 at Heartland Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born on April 1, 1921, daughter of the late Thomas L. and Gerthie (Royer) Moore.
Marlene was a graduate of Hollansburg High School. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, board games, going out with friends to breakfast, and most of all spending time with her family.
Marlene is survived by a son Gene (Nadine) Fowble of Southbridge, Massachusettes; son-in-law, Ron Hajarian of Englewood, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Donna (Steve) Gibson, Raymond (Trish) Fowble, Steven (Xiomara) Fowble, Scott (Mary) Fowble, Rhonda (Beth Hock) Hajarian, Wendy (Jim) Arnold, and Amy (Jason) Skinner; twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marlene is preceded in death by her husband, Don Fowble; a daughter, Janet Hajarian; four sisters, Charlene, Ollie, Mabel and Leth, and a brother, Harold Moore.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at 1:00 PM at Hollansburg Christian Church in Hollansburg, Ohio with the Rev. Ron Hajarian and Pastor Joe Hanna being asked to officiate. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the service.
