Lillie M. Gibbons, age 50 of Union City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday September 14, 2010 at 3:30 AM at her home. She was born February 24, 1960 in Richmond, Indiana the daughter of the late Edward & Mary (Giamonna) McDermitt Sr.
She worked at Fram and also worked at the Ansonia Athletic Booster Concession Stand. She was a member of the Ansonia American Legion. Her hobbies were sewing and cooking especially peanut butter pie.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband: Bill Gibbons of Union City, Ohio whom she married September 9, 1978; daughters & son in law: Andrea & Jeremy Meade of Greenville, Danielle Gibbons of Union City, Ohio; Grandchildren: Devin & Jamison “Tator”, & Mannie; Brother: Ed McDermitt of Darke County, Ohio; Sister & brother in law: Anna & Bob Nation of Shelby County, Ohio and their children Christina & Eddie; Special friend: Wilma “Wilm” Flack.
Services will be held on Friday September 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Candy Null officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 8:00 PM on Thursday September 16, 2010 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
