Ruby E. Gilbert, 84, of Arcanum, died at Tuesday evening, September 14, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Mrs. Gilbert was born in Darke County on August 4, 1926, the daughter of the late Walter and Alberta Mae (Taylor) Sease. She was a retired employee of the Hartzell Fan Company, Piqua and a Nurses Aide at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Gilbert, who died May 1, 1979, son Richard Gilbert, and sister Ruth Warner. Ruby is survived by her daughters Jane Penny and husband Howard and Susan Elifritz and husband Scott both of Greenville; sons Raymond Gilbert and wife Martha of Bradford, Joyce Gilbert of Arcanum, and Terry Gilbert and wife Lisa of Bradford; 11 Grandchildren; 12 Great Grandchildren; Brothers Dale Sease and wife Betty of Greenville and Earl Sease and wife Madonna of Arcanum. Funeral Services will be held Noon on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday 10:00 AM - Noon at the funeral home.
