She was born February 17,1924 in New Madison, Ohio, the daughter of the late Hugh and Mildred (Morgan) Schlosser.
In addition to her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her son, Jim Silvers, and her granddaughter, Sherry Reeves.
Eileen was a 1942 graduate of New Madison High School. She retired from Belden in Richmond and was a member of their 25 year club. She enjoyed working in her flowers beds and crocheting. Most of all, Eileen loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Eileen is survived by her husband of 71 years, Ralph Silvers of New Paris, whom she married, December 14, 1945; her children, Jack (Kathy) Silvers, Joyce (Ray) VanWinkle, and Jill (Les) Spencer, all of New Paris; her grandchildren, Tina Bane of New Paris, Jimmy Joe Silvers of Eldorado, Angie Richie of New Paris, Patty Minner of New Paris, Becky McIntosh of Richmond, Jack Silvers, Jr. of Fountain City, Indiana, Sara VanWinkle of Cambridge City, Indiana, and Tony Spencer of New Paris; several great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Dowell of California, Ruth Hathaway of New Paris, Helen Clapp of New Paris, and Sharon Allread of Savannah, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Springlawn Cemetery in New Paris.
