Daniel Lee Stephens, 62, of Brookville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
He was born on December 21, 1958, in Dayton to the late Jimmy Dean Stephen and Vera (Kaehler) Chasteen.
In addition to his parents Daniel was preceded in death by his stepfather, William Chasteen; his brothers, Jimmy Dean, Toby, and Barney Stephens; and stepsister Karen Chasteen.
Daniel was a 1978 graduate of Brookville High School. He enjoyed baseball cards and cars. He enjoyed the friendships with many of the folks from the Lamplighter.
Daniel is survived by his siblings, Sherri (Don) Marshall of Wisconsin, Jawn (Rita) Chasteen of Oakwood, Ohio, Cheryl (Ed) Seibert of Huber Heights, Tim Stephens of Brookville, Ohio and Chris (Mary) Chasteen of Union, Ohio, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, July 16, 2021, at Willowview Cemetery in Dayton with Pastor Tony Price officiating.
