She was born on November 17, 1961, in Summitville, Indiana, to the late James and Dorothy (Kirkpatrick) Brown.
In addition to her parents, Dawn was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Brown; siblings, Jeff Brown, Collin Brown, Kevin Brown, Robert Ashby, Debbie Brown, Rebecca Brown, and Kelly Brown.
She is survived by her son, Matthew (Brittany) Palmer of Thomasville, North Carolina; her grandchildren, Makaila, Bradley, and Alexa Palmer; her brother, James R. Brown, Jr. of Winchester, Indiana; and her sister, Nancy Brown of Union City, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.
