He was born on July 22, 1958, in Union City, Indiana, to Daniel "Jerry" and Janet (Erwin) Hall.
Monte was a 1975 graduate of Greenville High School. He held a variety of jobs over the years, including being a general laborer, an iron worker and a truck driver. Monte enjoyed spending time with his family, especially when they were outdoors fishing or hunting.
In addition to his parents, Monte is survived by his brother, Marty (Candy) Hall of Sharpsburg, Georgia; his wife, Connie Hall of Greenville; his sons, Daniel "Dan" (Kimberly) Hall of Greenville and Dustin (Jessica) Hall of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Erika Hohler-Schleiger, Brett (Hillary) Schleiger, Brianna (Tyler) Etter, Bellamy Hall and Rowen Hall; great grandchildren, Caitlin, Landon, Chloe and Emma.
A celebration of Monte's life will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Glen Bryant officiating.
Monte's family will receive guests on Saturday, July 24, 2021, from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
