Samson Lee Bowman (June 28, 2021)

Samson Lee Bowman, age 53 passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 28, 2021 in St. Mary’s, Ohio. Born in Troy, Ohio on October 27, 1967 to Harvey Lee Bowman & Regina Lee (Allen) Ploeger, he was the oldest of 7 children. He was a graduate of Franklin Monroe High School, class of 1986. Samson was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church, Richmond, IN. He was an avid hunter & fisherman. Samson played softball since his youth, and enjoyed hitting line drives to his children.  In his free time he liked to “flip houses”, go to Cincinnati Reds & Dayton Dragons baseball games; and University of Dayton basketball games. He never met a stranger, and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jennifer (Mikesell) Bowman, whom he married September 2, 1989: children Brittany Bowman; Samantha Bowman; Sara & Kyler Railsback; Caleb Bowman & fiancé Victoria Landis: father & step-mother Harvey & Robin Bowman; mother & step-father Regina & Dave Ploeger: siblings Heather & Chris Hypes; Holly & Semih Mutlu; Heidi & Johnathan Morse; Shawn & Johnnie Anne Bowman; Kyle & Rachel Bowman; Rachel & Ronal Ulloa: as well as many more family members and friends.

Friends may call on the family from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM on Friday, July 2, 2021 at the Highland Brethren In Christ Church- 7210 S. Jay Rd, West Milton, OH 45383-. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 10:30 AM at the church with Dr. Darrell Kepler presiding. Burial to follow at Sugargrove Cemetery, Covington , Ohio.
