Mary E. Poling age 91 of Versailles, Ohio, died at 4:17 A.M. on Thursday, June 25, 2009 at Versailles Health Care Center. Mary was born March 25, 1918 in Union City, Indiana, to the late Samuel W. & Minnie Ann (Betz) Crowell.
Mary formerly worked at Ball Brothers Glass and Excel Manufacturing in Muncie. Mary was a 50 year plus member of the Eastern Star in Muncie, Indiana. She was also a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge in Muncie, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by a great great grandson, Justin Clark; and numerous brothers and sisters.
Mary is survived by her son, Harold Yoder of Versailles, Ohio; daughter, Shirley Jones & Joe Ledbetter of Yorktown, Indiana; grandchildren, Debby Caley of Chesterfield, Indiana, Pamela Archi Bald of Muncie, Indiana and Michael Jones of Muncie, Indiana; 7 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren; sister, Ruth Wagner of Greenville; and numerous nieces & nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at Snell Cemetery in Darke County, Ohio, with Pastor Samuel Hoeflich officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles, Ohio.
