Patty Lou "Pat" Nease (March 30, 2011)

Patty Lou "Pat" Nease, 77, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2011, at 1:45 p.m. at Good Samaritan in Dayton, Ohio.

She was born July 31,1933 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Corby and Irene (Reeser) Enochs.

Pat worked at the Fram Corporation Plant in Greenville prior to becoming a housewife. She was a musician and played a guitar in several country bands in the area from 1949 to 1971.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Godown, and brothers, Lloyd Enochs and Robert Enochs.

She is survived by her husband, of 51 years, Daniel Nease Jr., whom she married on September 11, 1959; son and daughter-in-law, Bradley and Daisy Nease of Greenville; twin-sister, Betty Lou Burk and brother Lester "Gene" Enochs of Greenville, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

There will be no public visitation. The family request no flowers be sent. In the lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Greenville Area Emergency Rescue Service or the American Heart Association.

Dorothy M. Vietor (March 29, 2011)

Dorothy M. (Sherrick) Vietor, 92, of New Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at her residence. Dorothy was born on February 24, 1919 to the late Alonzo and Jenny (Mack) Sherrick.

Dorothy dearly loved gardening and her flowers, but mostly spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by Rosco Vietor and sisters Ethel Moyer and Catherine Clark.

Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Diana Vietor of New Madison; two sons, Jerry (Nancy) Vietor of New Madison and Larry Vietor of Ansonia; a brother, Dale Sherrick of Versailles; grandchildren, Brian Vietor (Tamyra Rawji), Tiffany Vietor (Daniel Morgan) all of New Madison, Aaron (Melissa) Vietor of Dayton, Lindsey (Randy) Lemie of Toledo, Eric Vietor of New Madison, Jennifer (Brandon) Sharp of Lewis Center and Jacob Vietor of Ansonia; great grandchildren, Devinn and Justtinna Vietor of Celina, Skyler and Mason Morgan of New Madison, Parker Vietor of Dayton and Madison Sharp of Lewis Center.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2, 2011 from 10AM ˆ 12 PM at Braund Funeral Home in New Madison. A Celebration of Life service will be on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 12:00 PM also at the funeral home with Rev. Doug Baker being asked to officiate. Burial be held at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles following the services

Naomi Vere Hemmerich (March 27, 2011)

Naomi Vere Hemmerich, age 91, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 12:35 PM at her residence. She was born on February 18, 1920 in Versailles, Ohio, to the late John & Lula (Gunn) Kimmel.
Naomi worked at the Veterans Service Office before becoming a housewife. She was a member of the WAVES in the United States Navy serving in WWII. She was a former member of the American Legion in Versailles and loved Gardening and music during her generation.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Wallace Kimmel; sisters, Ruth Preston, Claribel Laub, Velma Wolfe, Betty June Kimmel, and Martha Jane Kimmel.
She is survived by her husband, Doyle Hemmerich of Greenville, Ohio, whom she married on June 16, 1951; sons and daughters in law, Michael Alan & Julie Hemmerich of Dublin, Ohio, and Theodore Dean “Ted” & Debbie Hemmerich of Bradford, Ohio; daughter and son in law, Judith “Jane” & Bruce Kaiser of Greenville; grandchildren, Megan (Chris) Smith, Jennifer Hemmerich, Cara (Mike) Bourassa, Matthew Hemmerich, Nicholas Hemmerich, Jacob Hemmerich, and Natalie Hemmerich; great grandchildren, Sebastian Hemmerich and Addison Bourassa; brother, Gary Kimmel of Versailles, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Samuel Hoeflich officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery, Darke County, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, 2011 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. There will be a graveside military service conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.

Dorothy M. Henry age 87 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 9:23 P.M. on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at her residence. Dorothy was born November 8, 1923 in Shelby County, Ohio, to the late Henry & Marcella (Subler) Dapore.
Dorothy was a homemaker and assisted her husband on the dairy farm. Dorothy was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles; Daughters of Isabella of the church; Darke County Farm Bureau; Wayne Grange; D.A.V. Ladies Auxiliary; and Kentucky Chapter of 83rd Infantry Division.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy is also preceded in death by a great grandchild, Mary Elizabeth Weaver; and a sister, Dolores Henry.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Alfred L. Henry whom she married December 15, 1943; son & daughter-in-law, A. Larry & Sylvia Henry Jr. of Versailles; daughters & sons-in-law, Barbara & Jerry Weaver of Clayton, Joyce & James Chilcote of Toledo, and Cheryl & Dale Leach Jr. of Versailles; grandchildren, Rebecca Henry, Tammy Henry, Janell Henry, Elizabeth Fredette, Keith Weaver, Marcella Chaney, Anthony Weaver, Julie Chilcote, Jamie Chilcote, Jeff Chilcote, Christopher Leach and David Leach; 27 great grandchildren; brothers-in-law, Joseph Henry of Versailles and Paul Henry of Versailles; sisters-in-law, Bertha Bryan of Piqua and Ann Henry of Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Larry E. Richards, age 59 of New Weston, Ohio passed away Sunday March 27, 2011 at his residence. He was born January 29, 1952 in Richmond, Indiana and the son of the late Kenneth Charles Richards and Norma Louise (Jones) Ward.

He was a driver at Interstate Transportation of Union City, Indiana and a member of the Greenville Moose Lodge. Larry also enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping.

He is survived by daughters and sons in law Tracey L. & Damon Miller of Greenville and Stacey L. & Chris Gill of Yorkshire. His son Jason C. Richards of Youngstown. Grandchildren Brandon Matthieu, Savannah Matthieu, Jeremiah Miller, Heather Matthieu, Karleigh Richards, Trey Richards, Shanna Gill, Aywnna Miller, Shawna Gill and Jaylee Richards. A great grandchild Dalton Harris. Brother Ronny Richards of Union City, Indiana; sisters Tena Richards of Greenville and Norma Caleris of Youngstown, Ohio. Also numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday March 30, 2011 from 2 PM until 4 PM in the Moose Lodge 1200 Sweitzer Street Greenville, Ohio.

Alan B Jones (March 26, 2011)

JONES, Alan B., age 81, of Greenville passed away Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton, after a 2 year battle with Leukemia. The son of the late Albert J. and Hilda (Allen) Jones, he was born on February 23, 1930 in Cardiff, South Wales, Great Britain. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Christopher A. Jones in 1979, and a sister and brother-in-law, Muriel and Albert R. Flory. After serving in the British Army, Alan followed his parents and sister to the United States in 1951 and became a U.S. citizen and then served in the US Army. He retired from Fram Corporation in 1983 after 33 years and is a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greenville and the Darke County Democratic Party. He is survived by his wife of nearly 54 years, Judith A. (Howard), a daughter and son-in-law, Shelley K. and George Bleil of Dayton, a son, Robert H. Jones also of Dayton, 2 grandchildren, Christopher R. and Caroline R. Lord at home in Dayton. Also surviving are a nephew, Roger Flory of Greenville, a niece and husband, Sandra and Tom McGriff of Greenville and 3 great nephews. Cousins in Great Britain also survive. Rosella Helen Phlipot age 93 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 12:10 A.M. on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Versailles Health Care Center. Rosella was born March 26, 1917 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Felix & Charlotte (Goffena) Mangen.
Rosella retired from Fram in Greenville in 1982 after 29 years of service and she was a homemaker. Rosella was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and was formerly a member of the Versailles Eagles Ladies Auxiliary.
In addition to her parents, Rosella is also preceded in death by a brother, Lloyd Mangen; and sisters, Verdice Monnin, Cecelia Magoto, Bessie M. Phlipot, Geraldine Black and Helen Monnin.
Rosella is survived by her sons & daughters-in-law, Donald & Jeannine Phlipot of Oakwood, Ohio, Bernard & Doris Phlipot of Greenville, Ohio, and Richard & Judith Phlipot of Tampa, Florida; daughters & sons-in-law, Charlene & Steve Subler of Tampa, Florida, Judith & David Shade of Los Gatos, California, and Tammy & Mike Kelley of Crystal Lake, Illinois; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rosella was previously married to the late Joseph Phlipot.

Charlene Hetzel (March 22, 2011)

Mrs. Charlene Lavonne Hetzel, age 84 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 9:20 P.M. Tuesday March 22, 2011 at the Heartland Nursing Home of Greenville. She was born June 10, 1926 in Anderson, Indiana and the daughter of the late Lawrence & Beulah (Melson) Shaw.

Charlene retired in 1982 from the Greenville City Schools where she had been employed as a cook. She was a member of the Greenville Evangelical United Methodist Church, and also a member of the VFW and American Legion Ladies Auxiliary both of Greenville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Lewis Hetzel March 7, 2009. They were married June 22, 1946. Also by her sons Mark Lee and Greg Lewis Hetzel; Brothers Jim and Roger Melson.

Charlene is survived by a son and daughter in law Max Kent and Carolyn Hetzel of Greencastle, Ind.; grandchildren Ashley (Jenny) Adkins of Greencastle, Ind., Melissa (Roger) Droste of North Carolina and Shannon Hetzel of Merritt Island, Florida. There are 7 great grandchildren and brothers Larry Shaw of East Wenatchee, Washington, Jerry Shaw of West Milton, Ohio and Sister Donna Janes of Anderson, Indiana. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday March 25, 2011 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Rev. John McRoberts officiating. Betty June Schmidt Weimer, age 79 of Greenville, Ohio passed away Tuesday March 22, 2011 at 4:36 AM at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton, Ohio. She was born November 12, 1931 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Andrew William “Andy” & Ermel (Keist) Neff.

She was a floral designer, having owned the Calico Loft of Greenville for 13 years.

She was a member of the Ansonia 1st Church of God, former member of the Green Thumb Garden Club of Greenville, former member of the Christian Business & Professional Women’s Council of Greenville.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st Husband: Floyd Schmidt on April 16, 1992; 2nd Husband: Weldon E. Weimer on November 6, 2003; Step Son: David R. Schmidt.

She is survived by her sons & daughter in law: David John Miller of Payson, Arizona, Greg & Lori Schmidt of Greenville; daughters & sons in law: Pamela & Bill Windisch of Cincinnati, Ohio, Jodie & Doug Dunlap of Liberty Township, Ohio; Step Son & daughter in law: Gene & Janet Weimer of Greenville; step daughter: Jane Washler, Winchester, Indiana; Grandchildren: Nick & Nathan Dunlap, Kurt & Erika Windisch; numerous Great Grandchildren & Step Great Grandchildren.

Thelma B. Kehr, 90, of Greenville, formerly of Ithaca, died Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Gade Health Care Center, Greenville. Mrs. Kehr was born in Campbell County, TN on December 24, 1920, the daughter of the late Henry and Julie (Waldon) Archer. She was a member of the Ithaca Open Bible Church. She was an employee of Lewisburg Container retiring in 1981. She was the widow of Everett L. Kehr, who died December 20, 1993 and she was preceded in death by 4 Sisters Flossie Fudge, Minnie Gibson, Oma Ray, and Nola Carback, and Brother Elmer Archer. Survived by her Brother Marvin Archer of Lewisburg; and Nieces and Nephews. Joan L. Voisard age 68 of Russia, Ohio, passed away at 9:24 A.M. on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. Joan was born February 8, 1943 in Russia, Ohio, to the late Orville & Clara (Vornbrock) Voisard.
Joan was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia.
In addition to her parents, Joan is also preceded in death by a twin brother, Jerome Voisard; and a niece, Ann Margaret Voisard.

Esther Irene Warner (March 21, 2011)

Mrs. Esther Irene Warner, age 95 formerly of Arcanum, Ohio passed away at 7:20 A.M. Monday March 21, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Community of Greenville, Ohio. Irene was born September 21, 1915 in Greenville, Ohio and the daughter of the late Charles & Anna (Rismiller) Snell.

She was a homemaker and a member of the St. John Lutheran Church of Greenville, the WELCA Circle #4 of the church, Arcanum Garden Club, Walley Byrum Caravan Club International and had been a 4-H Leader.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband R.J. (Roger) Warner in 1984; daughter Roberta Bonekowski in 2005; sisters Clara Snell, Frieda Snell, Emma Snell and Velma (Snell) Brewer; Brothers Walter Snell and Frederick Snell.

Irene is survived by daughters and sons in law Deanna & Tim Collins of Tipp City and Barbara & Doug Lambert of Arcanum. Grandchildren Brittany Collins, Brenda Flatter, Mike Flatter, Becky Chrisman, Jerry Chrisman, Letitia Hocker, Rick Hocker, Mark Altic, Kelly Altic, Scott Altic and Lisa Altic. Great grandchildren Shawn Flatter, Jennifer Flatter, Kristina (Chrisman) Robinson, Matthew Robinson, Devin Chrisman, Kylee Hocker, Lakin Hocker, Logan Altic, Levi Altic, Amber Altic and Colt Altic. Evelyn Jean Williams, 59, of Bradford, Ohio, passed away peacefully at her residence on March, 19, 2011. Evelyn was born March 25, 1951 in Campton, Ky to Delores (Hilton) Gibbs and the late Maxie B. Gibbs.
Evelyn was a self employed painter with her husband during her life. She enjoyed gardening, raising horses and collecting rooster figurines. Evelyn’s greatest joy was spending time with family.
In addition to her mother, Evelyn is survived by her husband, Walter “Bill” Williams; a son, Anthony Wayne Williams of Dayton and a sister Wanda Hatmaker of Dayton.
A celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Braund Funeral Home in New Madison with Chaplain Candy Null being asked to officiate. A visitation will be held one hour before services on Tuesday.

Marion E. Rhoades, 91, of Greenville, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Brethren Retirement Community. Mr. Rhoades was born in West Milton, Ohio on October 5, 1919, the son of the late Edward and Mollie (Warner) Rhoades. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, WW II and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Ithaca. Marion was the former owner/operator of the Rhoades Tractor Sales, Arlington. After retirement he was employed by Arcanum Hardware. Preceded in death by daughter Pamela Cosler, Sister Priscilla Gibboney, and Brothers Floyd and Robert Rhoades. Survived by his wife Sue A. (Fulton) Rhoades whom he married October 5, 1940; Son Richard (Cindy) Rhoades of Arcanum; 4 Grandchildren Ryan (Christine) Cosler of Columbus, Kelly (Rodney) Crampton of Columbus, Melissa (Michael) Lange of Tipp City, and Christa (Travis) Miller of Vandalia; 9 Great Grandchildren; Brother Edward (Betty) Rhoades Jr. of Troy. Jerome W.  "Jerry" Barga, 70, of Greenville, Ohio passed away early Friday morning March 18, 2011 at Clare Bridge Cottage , Sterling House in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born September 8, 1940 in Rossburg, Ohio, son of Thelma Rose (Lambert) Barga of Greenville and the late Waldo Cyril Barga.
A farmer, Jerry had owned and operated Barga Sales and Service of Greenville until his retirement.  A former Trustee of Neave Township and a former board member of Tri-Village Rescue.
He is survived by his wife Wilma (Davis) Fisher-Barga; children, Janell (Sean) Conlon of Greenville, Steve Barga of Greenville, Scott (Linda) Barga of Greenville, Jeff (Ginger) Barga of Rossburg; stepchildren, Brad (Lisa) Fisher of Sewickley, PA, Greg (Marilyn) Fisher of Cheswick, PA; 13 grandchildren; 9 stepgrandchildren; brother, Fred (Rita) Barga of Rossburg; sisters, Carol (Kenneth) Payauys of Worthington, OH, Susan (Philip) Panzarella of Galena, OH, Dixie (Richard) Liette of Troy OH; special friend, Cookie Barga; 2 nieces; 8 nephews; and numerous cousins.

Marjorie Lida (Evilsizor) Anthony, 90, of Arcanum, passed away Friday morning March 18, 2011 at Wayne Health Care in Greenville, Ohio.
She was born February 18, 1921 in Springfield, OH, daughter of the late Marshall and Lida (Foose)  Evilsizor.  In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her sisters, Francis Heindl, Mary Cook, Alberta Creasman , a brother Louis "Bud" Evilsizor and twin great grandsons Joshua and Luke Kinney.
Marjorie was a homemaker, helped on the farm with her husband. Retired from Fram/ Allied Signal in Greenville  where she had worked for 18 years.  She was a former member of Caylor Chapel EUB Church.
She is survived by her husband J. Harold  Anthony, whom she married June 21, 1939; children Judy (Gene) Miller of Arcanum, Jim (JoAnn) Anthony of Hillsdale, MI, Jerry (Connie) Anthony of Bradford; grandchildren, Jodi (Robert) Kinney of Arcanum, Todd (Melissa) Miller of Parker City, IN, Julie (Steve) Wolfe of Ft. Wayne, IN, Ashley Anthony of Bradford, Randy Anthony of Bradford, Chris (Jeff) Wiechers of Toledo 0H, John (Stephanie) Cooper of Cincinnati,OH, Mark Cooper of Columbus OH; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Don (Cathy) Evilsizor of IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday March 21, 10 a.m. at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with  Rev. Hershel Fee officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be given to Versailles Health Care Center Advanced Nursing Scholarship Fund.

William M. "Will" Thwaits (March 18, 2011)

William M. "Will" Thwaits, 27, of Florence, Kentucky and formerly of Greenville, OH and Port Charlotte , Florida, passed away at his residence Friday evening, March 18, 2011.

He was born April 22, 1983 in Greenville, OH, son of William L. Thwaits of Monroe, MI, and Terry L. Young of Florence, KY.

Will had worked as a personal trainer in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas. He was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Jim and Carol Thwaits of Greenville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Patrick T. Thwaits on January 5, 2009, and his maternal grandparents, Dennis and Sharon Young.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church, 233 W. Third St. in Greenville, with Fr. John White celebrating. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Cemetery near Greenville.

The family will receive friends at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, OH on Wednesday, March 23, from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to help defray funeral expenses.

Eugene R. Brown (March 16, 2011)

Eugene R. “Gene” Brown, age 75, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 10:05 AM at Heartland of Greenville. Gene spent 1 month at Good Samaritan Heart Hospital in Dayton, Ohio before returning to Greenville on March 15, 2011 where he was admitted to Heartland. He was born on February 16, 1936 in Cincinnati, Ohio, to the late Raymond E. & Martha C. (Baker) Brown.
Gene worked as a manager for a Poultry and Egg Farm in Greenville for many years and then worked as a Life and Health Insurance Agent before working as a Special Advertising Sales Rep for Leckey Sales of Sidney, Ohio.
Gene was a member of the United States Air Force during the Korean War and a member American Legion. Gene had a liver transplant in 2003 where it allowed his family 8 more years to enjoy with him. The family would like to express there appreciation to all who are organ donors.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his step son, Rick Hill.
He is survived by his wife, Bette (Daubenmire) Brown of Greenville, Ohio, whom he married on April 26, 1976; sons and daughters in law, Robert (Kim) Brown of Arkansas, Chuck (Sara) Brown of Arkansas, and David & Regena Brown of Ansonia; daughter, Virginia Frye of Arkansas; step son, Jeff & Diane Hill of Bradford; step daughter, Brenda (Phil) Sullenberger of Piqua, Ohio; step daughter in law, Patti Hill of Greenville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sisters and brothers in law, Frances (Andrew) Holzinger of Dayton, Ohio and Carol (Jim) Ducker of Florida; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside memorial service on Friday, March 25, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Abbottsville Cemetery, St. Rt. 49 South, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Samuel Hoeflich officiating. A graveside military service will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.

Dale D Anthony (March 16, 2011)

Dale D. Anthony Sr., age 77, of Greenville, Ohio, Passed away on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 4:45 AM at his residence. He was born on September 22, 1933 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Roy & Anna (Cable) Anthony.
Dale worked as a machine repairman for Hobart Manufacturing in Troy, Ohio. He was a member of the United States Navy serving in the Korean War. He was a member of the Darke County Horseshoe Club, Greenville Creek Church and attended the First Untied Methodist Church in Greenville. Dale loved fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting and he was also a Taxidermist.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his first wife, Doris Anthony; sisters, Helen Crawford, Irene Magoteaux, Lois Butts, and Thelma Goodpastor; brother, Donald Lloyd Anthony.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy (Cruize) Anthony of Greenville, Ohio, whom he married in 1999; children and spouses, Dale D. (Janet) Anthony Jr. of Fredericktown, Ohio, Deborah (Sam) Sarver of Lexington, Ohio, Douglas (Marilyn) Anthony of Vernon, Texas, and Donald (Jennie) Anthony of Covington, Ohio; step children, Gregory Leas of Greenville, Ohio and Robert (Jeanette) Leas of Greenville, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Harold (Marge) Anthony of Greenville, Ohio, Edith Hawkins of Greenville, Ohio, Roma (Dick) Stump of Kenansville, Florida, Lester “Bud” (Helen) Anthony of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Billy (Janet) Anthony of Sidney, Ohio, and Wilma (Jack) Reck of Rocky River, Ohio; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary F. Sanders (March 15, 2011)

Mary F. Sanders, age 92, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 11:45 PM at the Brethren Retirement Community, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on September 12, 1918 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Alceid & Otha (Sharp) McGreevey.
Mary was a Homemaker and was also a Dietary Aid for the Brethren Retirement Community. She was a 50 year member of the former Grace Lutheran Church, Washington Township Home Economics Extension Club, and was 10 years as a 4-H Leader in Washington Township.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Sanders; son in law, David Katonak; brother, Dr. Robert McGreevey; sisters, Eloise McClurg, Marjory McGreevey, and Carol Hunter.
She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, John & Arlene Sanders of St. Augustine, Florida and Charles “Butch” & Janet Sanders of Coletown, Ohio; daughters, Joanne Katonak of Columbus, Ohio and June Sanders of Gainesville, Florida; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister and brother in law, Anna & Ralph Lotshaw of Pine Hurst, North Caroline; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Craig A. Jones age 56 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 6:28 P.M. on Monday, March 14, 2011 at his residence. Craig was born January 21, 1955 in Randolph County, Indiana, to the late William Riley & Beulah Pauline (McMurrey) Jones.

Calva "Jean" Marshall (March 14, 2011)

Calva Jean Marshall, 69, of New Madison passed away on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Community.   Jean was born in Stouts Mill, West Virginia on July 28, 1941 to the late Arden ”Boss” and Daisy (Pritt) Snyder.Jean worked and was Vice President at Farmer’s State Bank for 18 1/2 years, and later worked at Greenville National Bank. After her years in banking, she went to work for the Greenville Daily Advocate in the advertising department, and Kroger’s as a cashier. Jean loved caring for her family. She loved to do crafts and do activities with her kids and grandkids. She loved many kinds of flowers, and especially loved strawberries. Jean was a member of the New Madison Firebelles and the New Madison United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday school and was in the Lady Aid group.In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her brother, Mike Snyder.Jean is survived by her husband, William ”Bill” Marshall of New Madison; two sons, David and Patty Marshall of Verona, Ohio and Fred and Shannan Marshall of Burnsville, West Virginia; three grandchildren, Michael Marshall of West Virginia, and Taylor and Dalton Marshall of Verona, Ohio; a brother and sister-in-law, Randall and Mary Snyder of Newton Falls, Ohio;  and a sister-in-law, Charlene Snyder of Stouts Mill, West Virginia.The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 3-6 PM at the New Madison United Methodist Church in New Madison. Patricia K. Stump, 57, of Arcanum, died Tuesday evening, March 15, 2011 at her residence. Mrs. Stump was born in Greenville on August 29, 1953, the daughter of the late Donovan and Ruth (Bonsel) Sharp. She was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Ithaca. Patricia was a member of Women of the Church, Relay for Life, Strides, and Cancer Walks. She was a 16 year employee at GLT Inc., Dayton. Patricia was the wife of Michael Stump whom she married November 18, 1972. Also surviving are two children Stephanie Lawrence and husband Derrick of Reynoldsburg and John Stump and wife Svetlana of Huber Heights; and a granddaughter Evelinne Stump. The family will receive relatives and friends Saturday Noon - 2 PM on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church. Mrs. Thelma I. Shives, age 104 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 13, 2011 at 12:50 PM at her residence. She was born March 8, 1907 in Darke County, Ohio the daughter of the late Sherman W. & Gertrude (Cashman) Baird. She was the owner\operator of Thelma’s Beauty Shop.

She was a member of First Congregational Christian Church, Grandmothers Club, a 1925 graduate of Greenville High School, a volunteer at Wayne Hospital, & she was an avid gardener and loved flowers.

She is preceded in death by her parents; 1st Husband: Robert Plessinger; 2nd Husband: Jack Shives; Brothers: John, James, & Don Baird; Sister: Vera (Baird) Coppess.

She is survived by her son: Michael R. Plessinger of Greenville; Grandchildren: Michael R. Plessinger II, Jonathan Plessinger, Roger Ewing, Sean Plessinger, Christina Averbeck, Scotty Plessinger; 9 Great Grandchildren; Sister: Joan Coovert of Greenville; & numerous nieces & nephews.

Mr. Clifford R. Smith, age 81 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Thursday March 10, 2011 at 12:50 PM at Heartland of Greenville. He was born November 12, 1929 in Kentucky, the son of the late Luther Smith & Bessie (Rapier) Smith Troutman. He was a Bricklayer. He was a veteran serving in the Army Air Corp during the Korean War.

He was a member of New Beginnings Church of God & D.A.V. Chapter 57.

Rodney J. Derr (March 10, 2011)

Rodney J. Derr, 82, of Greenville, and formerly of Union City, OH, passed away early Thursday morning March 10, 2011 at Heartland of Greenville.
He was born February 19, 1929 in Darke County, Ohio, son of the late Carl and Treva (Riegle) Derr.  In addition to his parents, Rodney was preceded in death by his 1st wife Maxine Derr, brothers, Roscoe Derr, Lloyd Derr, a sister, Gaynell (Derr) Steele; and  nieces, Patty Lou Gerstner and Peggy George.
A veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean Conflict, Rodney was retired from the former Sheller- Globe in Union City where he had worked as a tool and die maker.  He was a lifetime member of the VFW in Union City, IN, and was a graduate of Eastside High School in Union City, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife of 14  years, Wanda (Wright) Fultz-Derr, whom he married October 12, 1996; daughters, Cheryl (Michael) Warrell of Ansonia, Cindy (Dave) Davis of Union City, IN; grandchildren, Angie (Garth) Knick, Jason Leedom, Sarah (Matt) Hines, Christina (Sergio) Meranda, David A. Ralph E. "Gene" Bixler, 85, of Greenville, passed away late Friday evening March 4, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.

He was born October 8, 1925 in Celina, son of the late William and Ida B.(Bachar) Bixler.

Gene had worked at Mengel's in Union City, IN, farmed, was a greeter at Walmart in Winchester, IN and had retired from Wayne Detling Farms. He was a member of the Teegarden Congregational Christian Church near Ansonia.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Donna (Fellers) Bixler,whom he marrried December 27, 1955; sons, William (Antonia) Bixler of Greenville, Mark A. Bixler of Canton, IL; a daughter, Debbie (Dan) Cox of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Emilie Cox of Bloomington, IN, Cody Bixler of Greenville, Maddie Cox of Naples, FL, Javi Bixler of Greenville, and Gianna Bixler of Greenville.

Sevices will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at Teegarden Congregational Christian Church near Ansonia, with Pastor Eric Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery.

The family will recieve friends at the church on Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. The family request that memorial contributions be given to the the Teegarden Congregational Church.

John formerly worked at Union City Body Company in Union City for 13 ½ years and Fenton's Shoe Shop in Greenville for 30 years. John served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII. John was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville; lifelong member of the Greenville American Legion for 60 years; Disabled American Veterans where he was Past Commander; and the Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his parents, John is also preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Dwight and Charles Henry; and a sister, Catherine Henry.
John is survived by his wife, Thelma V. Martha E. Labig (March 3, 2011)

Martha Emily Labig, 89 of 419 Avenue B Greenville, Ohio, passed away on 9:10 AM the morning of March 3, 2011, after one night at Heartland of Greenville.

She was born July 4, 1921, in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late Elmer and Ida (Johnson) Mong, her beloved grandparents were Edward L. and Cora (Morrow) Mong. She was preceded in death by her sister, JoAnne.
Survivors include her devoted husband, Chalmer E. Labig, whom she married June 9, 1941, after almost 70 years of wedded bliss; the lights of her life her two sons, Dr. Chalmer E. Labig Jr. and Dr. Charles Edward Labig, both of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her three precious grandchildren: Andrew, Michael, and Emily Ann Labig, sisters: Mary K. Harland of Las Vegas, Nevada; Margaret (Peggy) Wogoman of Clearwater, Florida; and Charlotte Von Hoene of Warrenville, Illinois; as well as a number of nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Fort Greeneville Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution, Fort Black Chapter # 336 Order of the Eastern Star, Past Worthy Matron of Fort Greenville Chapter # 406 Order of the Eastern Star, VFW 7262 Auxiliary, She was a member of the Pioneer Family, The Darke County Genealogical Society, she was a fifth generation lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher and Chairman of the Education Commission, as well as a Cub Scout Den Mother for # 134. She was very active in the United Methodist Women. She was a former member of the Emersonian Literary Club.

She loved raising flowers and traveling- having gone to almost all U.S. States, Canadian Provinces, and such countries as Malaysia, Singapore, Bali, Thailand, and most European countries. As she traveled world wide she enjoyed collecting cup and saucers from each country she visited and we counted a total of 33.

A winter resident of Florida for 24 years. She was an affiliate member of Cypress Lake United Methodist Church, an officer in Methodist Women. Also a member of Tab’itha Temple # 135 FLA, Daughters of the Nile, Fort Myers, Florida; Jamaica Bay Tennis Club, and several Bridge Clubs. She enjoyed her lifestyle.

Services will be held on Tuesday March 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Interment will follow in Greenville Cemetery. Diane Brown (March 4, 2011)

Diane Brown, 61, of Greenville, passed away Friday morning, March 4, 2011 at her residence.
She was born September 18, 1949 in East Brunswick, NJ, daughter of the late Elizabeth (Benni) Dickhut and Edgar Dickhut of West Virginia. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Angel and Amy Brown.
Diane was retired from News America Marketing where she had worked for 23 years. She attended the Bible Fellowsip Church in Greenville. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Dennis W. Brown, whom she married March 30, 1969; and two sons, Dennis D. Brown of Greenville and Christopher Brown of Dayton.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 8 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Scott Gruber officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the State of the Heart Hospice.  

Alma Filbrun (March 6, 2011)

Alma (Miller) Filbrun, 91, of Arcanum died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Heartland of Greenville. Mrs. Filbrun was born in Darke County on January 11, 1920, the daughter of the late Faro and Fannie (Shellabarger) Baker. She was a member of Painter Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Alma was a homemaker and Mother. She was preceded by her first husband Talmage Miller, who died March 21, 1978 and her second husband Eugene Filbrun, Son-in-law Donald Sides and Step-son Donald Filbrun, 4 Brothers and a Sister. Alma is survived by her Daughter Barbara Sides of Arcanum; Son Larry Miller and wife Therese of Greenville; Grandchildren Chris Sides, Becky Wardlaw and husband Greg, Lesa Bradshaw and husband Mike, Anita Stryker and husband Kirk, Marie Menger and husband Tim, and Amy Koons and husband Chad; Great Grandchildren Christopher Sides, Marah Penny, Sarah Penny, Justin Risner, Arron Risner, Sierra Stryker, Alyssia Stryker, Chelsea Koons, Eric Koons, Allen Bradshaw, Abigal Bradshaw, Heather Weatherly; Great Great Grandson Daniel Davis; 3 Step-sons Kenny Filbrun of Sidney, Lowell (Sara) Filbrun of Fletcher, and Jerry (Leah) Filbrun of Conover. Ruby N. Pease (March 4, 2011)

Ruby N. Pease, 94, died Friday, March 4, 2011 at Brethren Retirement Community. Mrs. Pease was a former long time resident of Arcanum. She was born in Arcanum on November 23, 1916, the daughter of the late Ellsworth and Esta (Fellers) Fourman. Ruby was an employee of Fram (Allied Signal) in Greenville, retiring in 1974. She was a lifetime member of the Faith United Methodist Church, Arcanum, a former member of the Perdy Watters Post 665 American Legion Auxiliary, West Manchester. The Rev Duckwall Sunday School Class and the Circle of Women's Organization at the church. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold J. Pease, who died April 23, 1983, and Sister Bonnie Elliott. Ruby is survived by a Son John H. Pease and wife Maria of Indianapolis; Grandsons Dr. Gregory Pease and wife Dr. Mary Pease and Mark A. Pease and wife Jessica; Great Grandchildren Nicholas, Naya, George, Norah, and Ingrid Pease. Doyle W. Shahan, 93, of Arcanum, died Friday evening, March 4, 2011 at Gades Nursing Home, Greenville. Mr. Shahan was born in St. George, WV on October 9, 1917, the son of the late Floyd C. and Dona Marie (Harsh). He was a member of Trinity Wesleyan Church, Greenville. Doyle retired from the General Motors Allison plant, Indianapolis. Preceded in death by his wife Bessie (Fitzwater) Shahan, who died August 13, 1997, Son Robert Shahan, Grand Daughter Cheryl Ary, and a Grand Son James Fonderhide, 2 Sisters Delphia Jones and Thelma Tennery, 3 Brothers Ellis, Ray, and Forest Shahan. Dale E. Garber (March 3, 2011)

Dale E. Garber, 80, of Arcanum, died Thursday evening, March 3, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Garber was born in Montgomery County on January 9, 1931, the son of the late Raymond and Geneva (Baker) Garber. He worked at Chrysler Products, Dayton retiring in 1992 and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Dale served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Dale was preceded in death by his Brother Robert Garber. He is survived by his wife Florence (Cook) Garber, whom he married November 11, 1950; Son Danny Garber and wife Sandy of Arcanum; Granddaughters Jessica Best and husband Jamie and Kimberlee Bloom and husband Jeremy both of Arcanum; Great Grandchildren Morgan, Layna, and Levi Best; and Sister Thelma Studebaker of Troy. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Pastor Susan Deverall officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. Joshua James Eiting (March 2, 2011)

Joshua James Eiting, age 41, passed away at his home in Melbourne Beach, FL, on Wednesday March 2, 2011. Born September 10, 1969 he is survived by parents James & Esther (Stucke) Eiting, of Versailles, OH.

Josh married Shirley (Bigham) Roll Eiting on August 9, 2002. Josh is also survived by stepchildren Jason & Nikki Roll, Katie & Nick Ellis, Maggie & Brian Knapke of Versailles, OH, Jacob Roll of Cincinnati, OH, and eight grandchildren. Siblings are Anne & Rob Klamar, Mitch & Ann Eiting of Versailles, OH, and Polly & Tim Grow of Minster, OH.

Josh graduated from Versailles High School in 1988 and attended the University of Dayton. Josh also served in the U.S. Army Reserves. His passion for aviation led him to the presidency of the Air America Foundation that restores historical military aircraft and he was a member of the Valiant Air Command Museum. Josh was a member of the Melbourne Beach Rotary Club in which he received the highest honor, a Paul Harris Fellow. To continue his service as a Rotarian he was involved with medical mission trips to Uganda, Africa through his club. He and his wife Shirley have lived in Melbourne Beach since 2005.

A celebration of Josh’s life will occur at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles on Monday, March 7, 2011 from 2 - 6 PM with prayer services at 3 PM. In lieu of flowers friends may make memorial contributions to the Air America Foundation.

Ruth Fern Anderson (March 1, 2011)

Mrs. Ruth Fern (Poling) Anderson, age 92 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 3:20 A.M. Tuesday March 1, 2011 at the Brethren Retirement Community Greenville, Ohio. Ruth was born February 6, 1919 in Rossburg, Ohio and the daughter of the late Henry & Laria (Bertram) Tegtmeyer.

She was retired from Second National Bank of Greenville and prior to that she had been employed at the former Whitecotton Drug Store and the Greenville Baking Company.

Ruth enjoyed arts and crafts, knitting, sewing, crocheting, and bowling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband William Eugene Buckingham, her second husband William Poling and her third husband John A. Anderson. Also her brothers Delbert, Bernard and Harold Tegtmeyer. Her sisters Lucille Walls, Mildred Boyer, Luella Gilmore and Infant Sister Ruby Tegtmeyer.

Ruth is survived by her daughters Joy Grody of Dayton, Brenda Miller of Centerville, Ohio and Shelba Fitzgerald of Greenville. Also 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM Monday March 7, 201l in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1 PM until time of the services in the funeral home.

It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Brethren Retirement Community Resident’s Aid Fund.

Steven F. Barga (March 1, 2011)

Steven F. Barga age 62 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 3:25 P.M. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at the V.A. Medical Center in Dayton. Steven was born January 20, 1949 in Versailles, Ohio, to the late Beatrice M. “Bea” Barga.
Steven retired from Val Decker in Piqua. He formerly worked at Hobart Brothers in Troy and ALCOA Products in Sidney. Steven served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church in Versailles and the American Legion Post #140 in Greenville
In addition to his mother, Steven is also preceded in death by a son, Dale Barga.
Steven is survived by his wife, Pauline M. (Curtis) Barga, whom he married March 11, 1972; son, Scottie Barga and fiancée Joyce E. Dynes of Palestine; daughter & son-in-law, Sandy & Stephen Davis of Versailles; grandchildren, Kasidy & Lynndie Davis; sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Nancy & Charles Hapner of New Paris; and numerous aunts, uncles, niece, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Rev. Fr. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Full Military Honors will be conducted by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard.

Chalmer D. Cruze (March 2, 2011)

Chalmer D. Cruze, 86, of Ansonia, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 2, 2011 at his sisters residence in Woodington.
He was born December 31, 1924 in Darke County, son of the late Melvin T. and Esther L. (Strait) Cruze. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine W. Cruze on January 26, 2006, a daughter, Regina L. Hawes, and a sister, Doris A. Cruze.
Chalmer was retired from the U.S. Air Force having served as an intelligence officer for over 40 years. He was a member of the Ansonia American Legion and the Greenville VFW.
He is survived by his children, Thomas S. Cruze of Ansonia, and Jeri A. (Harlen) Camacho of Greenville; grandsons, Chad (Becky) Curtis, and Benjamin (Abbie) Hawes; two great grandchildren, Nolan and Leah Curtis; and two sisters, Phyllis Caldwell of Greenville and Marjorie (Roger) Cox of Polaris, MT.
Services with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held Monday, March 7, at 10:30 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Abbottsville Cemetery.

Jerome Louis Brunswick (March 1, 2011)

Jerome Louis Brunswick age 53 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 5:55 A.M. on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton. Jerome was born January 14, 1958 in St. Marys, Ohio, to Carl & Pauline (Mangen) Brunswick of Greenville.
Jerome formerly worked at Weaver Brothers in Versailles, where he was a dock worker for 20 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville.
Jerome is preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Joseph & John Noel Brunswick.
In addition to his parents, Jerome is also survived by his brothers & sister-in-law, Robert Patrick & Vicki Brunswick of Versailles, Randal “Randy” Brunswick & Renie Bertke of Ft. Loramie, Alvin Brunswick of Greenville & Eugene “Gene” Brunswick of Greenville; sister and brother-in-law, Linda & Bruce Laub of Covington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville with Rev. Fr. John White celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in Greenville. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Friday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville. Connie Schmidt Waggoner (February 25, 2011)

Connie Schmidt Waggoner passed away on Friday, February 25, 2011. She fought a courageous battle with lung cancer and was able to be at home when she was called home to be with God. Connie had moved to Troy after the passing of her first husband Charles F. Schmidt, Jr. in 2003.
She remarried on July 7, 2007 to Charles E. Waggoner. She enjoyed the last years of her life surrounded by beautiful trees and waters that surrounded their homes in Troy and Montezuma. Connie was born to James Robert and Ina Mae (Engle) Brown in Winchester, Indiana in 1949. She was preceded in death by both parents and her first husband Charles Schmidt, Jr.
She was an avid learner, with degrees from Edison State Community College, Capital University and Central Michigan University. Connie had a Masters Degree in Health Care Administration from Central Michigan University. Bachelors Degree in Accounting and Business Management from Capital University and also Associate Degrees in Business Administration and Accounting. She was certified by the American College of Medical Practice Executives. As a medical administrator, she was very active in building new medical centers, including an Imaging Center in Muncie, IN and a Cancer Center in Bakersfield, CA. She received numerous awards over the years including a national HERA award from Wyeth-Ayerst recognizing her achievements in womens and childrens health care.
A respected administrator, teacher, advisor and loving mother of two, she dedicated her life to the rearing and education of her children. She enjoyed traveling, volunteering at church, tending flowers, and spending time with her grandchildren. Connie was a member and very active at the First Presbyterian Church of Greenville and attended Community Bible Church in Tipp City and Montezuma Methodist Church in Montezuma.
She is survived by her current husband, Charles Waggoner; her children, Kimberly (Eric) Steele of Idaho Springs, Colorado, and Emily (Mark McDaniel) Schmidt of Greenville, Ohio. The light of her life were her three grandchildren, Kaitlyn Daisy Schmidt, Kaylee Mae McDaniel and Isaiah Keegan McDaniel. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Nina Fouts of Troy, Evelyn (Jon) Warner of Hilliard, twin brother, Lonnie (Debbie) Brown of Hilliard, Donna (Tom) Eyerman of Phoenix, Jeff (Dee) Schmidt of Greenville and Sandra Marker of Greenville. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a service held on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church, 114 East 4th St., Greenville, Ohio, with Rev. Dr. John Person officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville.
