Alma (Miller) Filbrun, 91, of Arcanum died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Heartland of Greenville. Mrs. Filbrun was born in Darke County on January 11, 1920, the daughter of the late Faro and Fannie (Shellabarger) Baker. She was a member of Painter Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Alma was a homemaker and Mother. She was preceded by her first husband Talmage Miller, who died March 21, 1978 and her second husband Eugene Filbrun, Son-in-law Donald Sides and Step-son Donald Filbrun, 4 Brothers and a Sister. Alma is survived by her Daughter Barbara Sides of Arcanum; Son Larry Miller and wife Therese of Greenville; Grandchildren Chris Sides, Becky Wardlaw and husband Greg, Lesa Bradshaw and husband Mike, Anita Stryker and husband Kirk, Marie Menger and husband Tim, and Amy Koons and husband Chad; Great Grandchildren Christopher Sides, Marah Penny, Sarah Penny, Justin Risner, Arron Risner, Sierra Stryker, Alyssia Stryker, Chelsea Koons, Eric Koons, Allen Bradshaw, Abigal Bradshaw, Heather Weatherly; Great Great Grandson Daniel Davis; 3 Step-sons Kenny Filbrun of Sidney, Lowell (Sara) Filbrun of Fletcher, and Jerry (Leah) Filbrun of Conover. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at the Painter Creek Old German Baptist Brethren Meeting House, Arcanum with Home Brethren officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Wednesday 5 - 8 PM at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum. A Prayer Service will be conducted at the funeral home 9:00 AM Thursday.
