Marion E. Rhoades, 91, of Greenville, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Brethren Retirement Community. Mr. Rhoades was born in West Milton, Ohio on October 5, 1919, the son of the late Edward and Mollie (Warner) Rhoades. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, WW II and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Ithaca. Marion was the former owner/operator of the Rhoades Tractor Sales, Arlington. After retirement he was employed by Arcanum Hardware. Preceded in death by daughter Pamela Cosler, Sister Priscilla Gibboney, and Brothers Floyd and Robert Rhoades. Survived by his wife Sue A. (Fulton) Rhoades whom he married October 5, 1940; Son Richard (Cindy) Rhoades of Arcanum; 4 Grandchildren Ryan (Christine) Cosler of Columbus, Kelly (Rodney) Crampton of Columbus, Melissa (Michael) Lange of Tipp City, and Christa (Travis) Miller of Vandalia; 9 Great Grandchildren; Brother Edward (Betty) Rhoades Jr. of Troy. Funeral Services will be held 10:30 AM on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Pastor Todd Reish and Rev. Tim Lehman officiating. Burial will follow in Bethel Cemetery, Phillipsburg. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 6 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
