Dale E. Garber, 80, of Arcanum, died Thursday evening, March 3, 2011 at his residence. Mr. Garber was born in Montgomery County on January 9, 1931, the son of the late Raymond and Geneva (Baker) Garber. He worked at Chrysler Products, Dayton retiring in 1992 and was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church. Dale served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. Dale was preceded in death by his Brother Robert Garber. He is survived by his wife Florence (Cook) Garber, whom he married November 11, 1950; Son Danny Garber and wife Sandy of Arcanum; Granddaughters Jessica Best and husband Jamie and Kimberlee Bloom and husband Jeremy both of Arcanum; Great Grandchildren Morgan, Layna, and Levi Best; and Sister Thelma Studebaker of Troy. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM on Monday, March 7, 2011 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Pastor Susan Deverall officiating. Burial will follow in Mote Cemetery, Pitsburg. The family will receive relatives and friends 2 hours before the time of services Monday at the funeral home.
