Marjorie Lida (Evilsizor) Anthony, 90, of Arcanum, passed away Friday morning March 18, 2011 at Wayne Health Care in Greenville, Ohio.
She was born February 18, 1921 in Springfield, OH, daughter of the late Marshall and Lida (Foose) Evilsizor. In addition to her parents, Marjorie was preceded in death by her sisters, Francis Heindl, Mary Cook, Alberta Creasman , a brother Louis "Bud" Evilsizor and twin great grandsons Joshua and Luke Kinney.
Marjorie was a homemaker, helped on the farm with her husband. Retired from Fram/ Allied Signal in Greenville where she had worked for 18 years. She was a former member of Caylor Chapel EUB Church.
She is survived by her husband J. Harold Anthony, whom she married June 21, 1939; children Judy (Gene) Miller of Arcanum, Jim (JoAnn) Anthony of Hillsdale, MI, Jerry (Connie) Anthony of Bradford; grandchildren, Jodi (Robert) Kinney of Arcanum, Todd (Melissa) Miller of Parker City, IN, Julie (Steve) Wolfe of Ft. Wayne, IN, Ashley Anthony of Bradford, Randy Anthony of Bradford, Chris (Jeff) Wiechers of Toledo 0H, John (Stephanie) Cooper of Cincinnati,OH, Mark Cooper of Columbus OH; 10 great grandchildren; a brother, Don (Cathy) Evilsizor of IN; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday March 21, 10 a.m. at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Hershel Fee officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Pleasant Hill, Ohio.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to be given to Versailles Health Care Center Advanced Nursing Scholarship Fund.
