Joan L. Voisard age 68 of Russia, Ohio, passed away at 9:24 A.M. on Monday, March 21, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. Joan was born February 8, 1943 in Russia, Ohio, to the late Orville & Clara (Vornbrock) Voisard.
Joan was a member of St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia.
In addition to her parents, Joan is also preceded in death by a twin brother, Jerome Voisard; and a niece, Ann Margaret Voisard.
Joan is survived by her brothers & sisters-in-law, William & Patricia Voisard of Powell, Ohio, and Charles & Erna Voisard of Russia, Ohio; sister & brother-in-law, Donna & Leonard Schumann of DeWitt, Michigan; and nephews & nieces, Mark Voisard, Doug Voisard, Beth Parks, Nancy St. John, Brenda Voisard, Deanna Ball, Pam Dickman, Clint Schumann, Brian Schumann, and Jeremy Schumann.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Remy Catholic Church in Russia with Rev. Fr. Frank Amberger celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Remy Cemetery in Russia. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Saturday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles. Memorial contributions may be made to Shelby County Right to Life.
