Gary was born September 24, 1937, in New Madison to the late Rollie & Lucy (Clay) Brown.
Gary is survived by his wife of 60 years, Barbara (Replogle) Brown whom he married December 14, 1956; children, Gregg & Lynn Brown of Riverside, Tim & Joann Brown of Hollansburg, Rebecca & Kris Smith of Shamong, New Jersey and Sharon brown of Richmond, Indiana; grandchildren, Jeff Brown of Greenville, Aaron & Jamie Brown of Dayton, Chloe Smith of Westchester, Pennsylvania and Bryant Smith of Shamong, New Jersey; and 2 great grandchildren.
Gary was a lifelong farmer and retired from Fram Corporation in Greenville after 43 years of service. He was a member of Ft. Jefferson United Methodist Church.
A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 21, 2017, at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Doug Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the funeral home.
