Thomas D. Sanderson (September 23, 2017)

Thomas D. Sanderson, 79 of Covington, Ohio passed away on Saturday September 23, 2017 at 6:55 AM at his residence. He was born July 20, 1938 in Versailles, Ohio the son of the late Ralph & Ruth Marie (Marker) Sanderson. He retired from Hobart Manufacturing where he worked as a Gear Cutter. He was a 46 year member of Webster United Methodist Church; Area 2 Shetland Pony Club; American Shetland Pony Club; Darke County Horse & Pony Club.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and his brother: Robert Sanderson.

He is survived by his wife Barbara (Berry) Sanderson of Covington whom he married September 16, 1995; his children & spouses: Russ & Mary Ann Sanderson of Bradford, Melanie & John Rimmer of Greenville, Mike & Denise Sanderson of West Milton, Matt Berry of Covington, Jerry & April Sanderson of Arizona, Heather & Craig Wenning of Columbus, & Lani Workman of Indiana; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; nephew: Jeff Sanderson of Greenville.

Services will be held on Saturday September 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio with Pastor David Wilson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday September 29, 2017 and 1 hour prior to services on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the American Cancer Association.
