She was born May 1, 1923 outside Union City, IN, a daughter of the late Francis and Ruby (Ross) Karn. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband of nearly 50 years, Robert C. Munn, Sr., daughter Bethany K. Munn Peters, brother Kenneth T. Karn, and Sister Aileene Karn Tharpe.
She is survived by her son, Robert C. Munn (Joyce), son-in-law Kim L. Peters, brother Lee R. Sowers (Ruth), grandchildren; Jeffrey L. Munn (Tayna), Stephanie L. Bowers, Jeromy L. Peters (Lorie), Nathaniel L. Peters (Emily), Shanna E. Peters Cook (Rick), and ten great-grandchildren.
She was a devout Christian who had a compassionate and loving spirit. She spent considerable time praying for her family and those in need. She was a member of the Ft. Jefferson Methodist Church.
Pastor David Brisker will be officiating services at the Zechar Baily Funeral Home, 1499 N. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331 on Wednesday, January 17, at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be from 12:00 until 2:00 P.M. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio.
