Frederick “Fred” (BoBo) Fellers (December 31, 2017)

Frederick “Fred” (BoBo) Fellers, age 87 of Greenville, Ohio passed away at 1:53 PM Sunday December 31, 2017 at the State of the Heart Hospice Care Center in Greenville. Fred was born October 11, 1930 in Darke County near Arcanum, Ohio and the son of the late Merlin & Frances (Sink) Fellers.

He was retired having worked for 24 years at the former N.C.R. Corporation of Dayton then BASF of Greenville followed with part time employment at Car Quest and Rodefeld’s both of Greenville. He was a Veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church of Greenville and a past member of the SPEBSQSA (Barber Shop Chorus).

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Pauline Fellers and a stillborn brother Donald Fellers.

Fred is survived by his wife Wilma Jean (Hahn) Fellers of Greenville. They were married February 6, 1952. Also children Douglas (Pat) Fellers of Greenville, Daniel (Candy) Fellers of Miamisburg and Lori (Mike) Lemon of Greenville; grandchildren Eric (Stacy) Fellers, Nick (Alyssa) Fellers, Arinne (David) Lee, Ashley (Leslie) Fellers, Justin Fellers, Kari Lemon, Julie (Brian) Cook and Chance (Lauren) Tussey; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way; sister Alice Mae Harleman as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday January 6, 2018 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM and Saturday 1 hour prior to the services in the funeral home. The Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard will conduct Full Military Honors Saturday at the funeral home.

It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the State of the Heart Care, St. Paul Lutheran Church or Greenville Girls Softball Association (GGSA) all of Greenville.
