Mrs. Betty L. Buemi, 85, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2009 at 10:45 AM at Rest Haven Nursing Home, Greenville, Ohio. She was born on March 18, 1924 in Darke County, Ohio to the late George E. & Murtle A. (Spillers) Canan. She was a housewife.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Buemi Sr. in 1990 whom she married on October 24, 1945 as well as several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by; son and daughter in law, Charles Tom & Danette Buemi Jr. of Greenville; daughter and son in law, Connie & Paul Hodson of Greenville; grandchildren, Tamera Mendenhall, Tisha Smith, Travis Buemi and Tyson Buemi; great grandchildren, Ashley Julian, Sierra Mendenhall, Rachel Mendenhall and Paul Smith as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be an open house at Connie’s house at 528 Union St., Greenville, Ohio on Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 1-3 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
