Mr. James L. “Jim” Conley, 49, of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 4:45 AM at Hospice of Dayton, Dayton, Ohio. He was born on September 6, 1960 in West Liberty, Kentucky to Mariah Ann & William Burton of Greenville, Ohio and Canus & Gladys Conley of Brookville, Ohio.
James was a carpenter and also worked at Foureman’s Sand and Gravel Inc. He was a member of the Primitive Baptist Church in Kentucky as well as a Booster Member at the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents as well as several aunts and uncles.
In addition to his parents he is survived by; daughters, Krista Conley of Troy, Ohio and Jenna Conley of Troy, Ohio; granddaughter, Sophia Conley; brother and sister in law, William & Karen Conley of Oak Harbor, Washington; sisters and brothers in law, Goldie & Pat Hoch of New Madison, Ohio, Zelda Riffell and Scott Morris of Eldorado, Missouri and Teresa & John Osterday of Arcanum, Ohio as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a service held on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville with Elder Donovan Finch officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens, Greenville, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
