Mr. Everett E. “Bud” Stegall, age 78 formerly of 6489 Heller Road, Greenville, Ohio passed away at 12:30 A.M. Tuesday September 1, 2009 at the Heartland Nursing Home of Greenville. Bud was born August 15, 1931 in New Paris, Ohio. He was the son of the late Clarence and Olive (Reeg) Stegall.
Bud was retired from Stegall Contractors of Greenville and was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church of Greenville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Mrs. Betty J. (Turner) Stegall October 7, 2007. Also by his sister Clarise McFaddin.
Bud is survived by his sons and daughter in law—Mike & Rose Stegall of Greenville and Dan Stegall of Troy. Grandchildren—Katie Fenstermaker and Emily Jasenski. Great Grandchildren—Samantha, Matthew and Chloe Fenstermaker and Liam and Charley Jasenski. Brother—Tom Stegall of Wayne Lakes, Sisters—Phyllis Alsop of Richmond, Indiana and Jo Ann Hoover of Wayne Lakes. As well as numerous Nieces and Nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with the Pastor Peter Menke officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery Ft. Jefferson with Veteran’s Services conducted by the Greenville Veteran’s Honor Guard. There will be no public visitation.
It is the wishes of the family that Memorial Contributions be given to the Greenville Township Fire Department or the Greenville V.F.W.
