V. Aileen Sebring, 90, of Greenville, passed away Monday morning, September 14, 2009 at Heartland of Greenville.
She was born in Rossburg, daughter of the late Warren and Lydia Margaret "Maggie" (Young) McClurg. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, R. Dwight Sebring on December 16, 2008; brothers and sisters, Paul McClurg, Chelcie McClurg, Helen Coons, Ruth Stoneburner, Hazel Coons, Mary Zumbrink, Chester McClurg, Richard McClurg and Grace Sebring.
A homemaker, Aileen was a member of the former West Grove United Church of Christ and had attended the EUM Church in Greenville.
She is survived by her children, Karen Brown and Dennis (Evelyn) Sebring all of Greenville; grandchildren, Doug, Dan and David (Dani) Brown, Lisa (Patrick) Williams, Wendy (Brent) Meek and Shad Sebring (special friend Liz Hall); great grandchildren, Seth and Karlie Williams, Karina Brown, Marlie Mitchell, Emma Meek, Ali Meek and Joni Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, September 18, at 10 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Terry Haworth officiating. Burial will follow in the Miami Memorial Park near Covington, OH.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Heartland Hospice.
