Betty is survived by her husband, Ronald Glenn Swartwout whom she married July 4, 1957; son & daughter-in-law, Randall Lee & Debra Swartwout of Eaton; daughters, Barbara Ann Peeples of Greenville and Beverly Pierce of Austin, Texas; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Wesley H. & Kaye Birt of South Carolina; and sister & brother-in-law, Kay & Jack Seiler of Greenville.
Betty formerly worked at Troy Sunshade, Wayne Hospital and Eikenberry’s IGA Foodliners. Betty was very active at the EUM Church in Greenville.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Sylvia McKibben officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
