Linda L. Burnfield, 61, of Ansonia, passed away Monday evening, February 2, 2015 at her residence.
She was born March 9, 1953 in Dayton, the daughter of the late Henry and Lois Madge (Shook) Benge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Phillip Benge.
Linda was retired from Walmart in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband Tim Burnfield, whom she married November 7, 1983; children, John W. Sink, Scott E. Sink, Lisa M. Sink, Earl James Burnfield; Nathan Elliott Burnfield, and Reece Allen Burnfield; 12 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Terry (Cheryl) Benge and Willard “Gene” (Cheryl) Close; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, February 6, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Shook Cemetery near Rossburg.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
