Virginia is survived by a son & daughter-in-law, James & Debbie Shoemaker of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Steven Shoemaker and William & Sherry Shoemaker; great-grandchildren, Tyler & Karin Shoemaker, Logan Shoemaker, Grant Shoemaker, Rachel Shoemaker, Hannah Shoemaker and Gracie Shoemaker; step great-great grandson, Logan and one expected great-great grandchild in June.
In addition to her parents, Virginia was also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey L. Shoemaker on December 5, 1998 whom she married June 29, 1946.
Virginia retired from Fram Corporation in Greenville. She formerly attended the Stelvideo Christian Church.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor David Hackney officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. at the funeral home.
