He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Larry Bingham of Greenville, Ohio, Scott & Betty Bingham of Greenville, Jack & Debbie Bingham of Greenville, Mike Bingham of Palm City, CA, and Jim Bingham of Greenville; daughters and sons in law, K. Sue Waddell of Greenville, Barbara & Gary Goffinet of Carlisle, Ohio, Darlene & Rick Riffell of Arcanum, Ohio, Sharon & Joe Smith of Greenville and Diana & Jerry Duncan of Rossburg, Ohio; 17 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Bingham whom he married on November 11, 1944; son, Dean Bingham; infant son, Timothy Bingham; granddaughter, Mendy Trissel; great granddaughter, April Peters and all of his siblings.
Walter was a very devoted Christian and was a member of the Piqua Apostolic Church. He was an avid NASCAR fan and was a financial supporter of Israel and St. Jude’s Hospital.
There will be a service held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Dan Hathaway officiating. Burial will follow in the Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
