D. Imogene Dull, 95, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 29, 2021 at the Brethren Retirement Community in Greenville.
She was born June 27, 1925 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late Henry and Irene (Moyer) Schlechty.
In addition to her parents, Imogene was preceded in death by her husband, Donald J. Dull, whom she married on September 7, 1946; her daughter-in-law, Sheila Dull; her sisters, Alice Wade and Louise Sanders; her brother, Charles Schlechty; her stepsister, Mary Johnson; and her stepbrother, Marvin Houdishell.
Imogene was a independent woman who loved her family. She was known to always put her family first. She instilled in them a good work ethic and inspired her family how to persevere no matter the situation. She worked in the banking industry for over 30 years. She and her husband, Donald, spend many years volunteering at the Brethren Retirement Community before joining the community themselves.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Carole) Dull of Virginia Beach, VA, Tom Dull of Los Angeles, CA, Terry (Mindy) Dull of Brookville, OH, Ted (Phyllis) Dull of Dallas, TX, and Tammy (Daryl) Printz of Arcanum; her brothers, Keith (Sue) Schlechty and Steve Schlechty; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Josh) Sosby, Josh (Amanda) Dull, Elizabeth Stocks, Jeremiah (Morgan) Dull, Deanna (Jerod) Gillen, Darren (Katie) Printz, and Daniel (Emily) Printz; and her great grandchildren, Anthony, Meredith, Cameron, Landon, Jocelyn, Emily, Evelyn, Madelyn, Alexander, Ella, Ava, and Maci Kay.
A private funeral service for the family will take place at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Abbottsville Cemetery.
