Gene Leroy Oliver, 90 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Saturday March 27, 2021 at 2:52 AM at State of the Heart Hospice Care Center. He was born April 23, 1930 in Greenville, Ohio, the son of the late Merle Oliver and Inez L. (Howell) Roll.
He retired from Dayton Power and Light after 39 years working as a Lineman.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife: Helen D. (Brenner) Oliver whom he married June 12, 1948; his daughter: Faye Henninger; his brother: Bruce Oliver; and his sister: Joanne Hake.
He is survived by his children: Sandra Henninger of Greenville and Richard & Kim Oliver of Union City, Ohio; 8 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren with 1 on the way.
Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Oak Grove Cemetery, Fort Jefferson, Ohio. Arrangements have been entrusted to Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.
