Rosie Longfellow, 91 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Sunday March 28, 2021 at 1:18 AM at State of The Heart Care Center, Greenville, Ohio. She was born June 6, 1929 in Greenville, Ohio the daughter of the late David & Maybelle Thomas. She worked as a cook at South and East Schools.
She loved dancing, taking dune buggy parades, flower gardening, taking walks and being with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Maurice Longfellow on March 10, 2016 whom she married October 11, 1945; her daughter in law: Keitha Longfellow; and her brothers: Frank Thomas and Bill Thomas.
She is survived by her sons: Dan (Vicki) Longfellow, Terry (Raine) Longfellow; her grandchildren: Chad, Ben (Belinda), Eric (Adrienne) Longfellow, Lisa (Bill) Toomey, Tara (Nick) Crafton; great grandchildren: Hali Bruns, Wade, Brina, Toomey, Clayton, Illyana, Thor, Remy, Sebastian, Daniel, Bjorn, Maddy, Gavyn, Sam, & Ellie Longfellow, Maddie Doss, Gunner, Aivrey, Hayden, Skylar, Jasper, & Shelby Craftton; great great grandchildren: Madelyn & Evelyn.
Services will be held on Thursday April 1, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to services on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to State of the Heart Hospice.
