Ned T. Alspaugh (April 27, 2011)

Ned T. Alspaugh, 81, of Brookville, died Wednesday evening, April 27, 2011 at Friendship Village, Trotwood. He was born in Lewisburg, on April 8, 1930, the son of the late Mintford and Mable (Albright) Alspaugh. He was a retired 33 year employee of DP&L. Mr. Alspaugh was a U. S. Army Veteran. Ned is Survived by wife Phyllis (Urich), whom he married August 1, 1953; Daughters Shirley Hayslett of Eaton and Cindy Smuzok and husband Scott of Franklin; Son Charles Alspaugh of Eaton; 6 Grandchildren Eric Hayslett and wife Lonni, Sara Marker and husband Jerod, Amanda Hayslett, Ethan Smuzok, Emma Smuzok, and Courtney Alspaugh; 1 Great Grandson Oliver Marker; Brother Byron Alspaugh and wife Patsy of Eaton; and Sister Phyllis Steindler of Baltimore, MD. Funeral Services will be held Noon, Monday, May 2, 2011 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Rev John Wiltshire officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Cemetery, Lewisburg. Joan R. Dunlap (April 27, 2011)

Joan R. Dunlap, 86, of Beavercreek, died Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Trinity Community, Beavercreek. Mrs. Dunlap was a former long time resident of Arcanum. She was born in Oakwood on February 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Mathew A. and Muriel D. (Houtzer) Robnolte. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Arcanum; Choir Director for the Faith and Trinity United Methodist Churches. She was a well known local artist, a member of the Criterion Club, and a member of the Arcanum Historical Society. Joan was preceded in death by her husband Victor R. Dunlap, who died September 3, 2002, Grand Daughter Abigail Samulak, and 2 Brothers Richard and William Robnolte. Survived by 3 Daughters Linda Garitson and husband Gary of Columbus, Indiana, Lydia Fourman and husband Terry of Westfield, Indiana, Jennifer Morrison and husband Brent of Bellbrook; 2 Sons Vic Dunlap and wife Sandra of Defiance and Ron Dunlap and wife Norma of Chelan, Washington; 8 Grandchildren; 7 Great Grandchildren; and Sister Norma Cunningham of Defiance. Lewis A. Kremer (April 23, 2011)

Lewis A. Kremer, age 84, of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 9:40 PM at his residence. He was born on July 8, 1926 in Maria Stein, Ohio, to the late John D. & Agnes (Menker) Kremer.
Lewis retired from Minster Farmer’s Co-op and also was a retired farmer. He was a member of the United States Army serving in WWII, St. Denis Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, VFW in Versailles, AM Vets in Covington, and Versailles Eagles. Lewis enjoyed his family, church, gardening, going to his woods and golfing with his buddies.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings, Ivo Kremer, Otto Kremer, Elsie Will, and Dorothy Winner; half siblings, Roman Kremer, Edward Kremer, Lawrence Kremer, Neal Kremer, Clara Balster and Herb Kremer.
He is survived by his wife, Betty L. (Cramer) Kremer of Versailles, Ohio, whom he married on April 28, 1945 in Camp Blanding, Florida, by Chaplain Thomas O’Malloy; children and spouses, Tony L. & Mary Ellen Kremer of Celina, Ohio, David (Red) & Ruth Kremer of Versailles, Ohio, Diana & Dale George of Versailles, Ohio, Jo & Chuck Langenkamp of Greenville, Ohio, Ron & Sheree Kremer of Versailles, Ohio, Jill & Clarence (Butch) Simons of Greenville, Ohio, Dan & Jackie Kremer of Versailles, Ohio, and Ken & Julia Kremer of Versailles, Ohio; 26 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren; siblings, Walter & Rita Kremer of Kettering, Ohio, Fred & Martha Kremer of West Lafayette, Indiana, Ray & Jean Kremer of Coldwater, Ohio, and Emily Minch of Celina, Ohio; sister in law, Nettie Cramer of Stafford, Virginia; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church, 14 East Wood Street, Versailles, Ohio, with Rev. Fr. David Vincent celebrant. Burial will follow in the St. Valbert Cemetery in Versailles, Ohio. Family will receive friends on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 2-8 PM at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home, Versailles, Ohio, as well as Saturday from 9-10 AM at the funeral home. A graveside military service will be conducted by the Versailles Veterans Honor Guard. The Knights of Columbus will have a prayer service on Friday evening at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.

Charles William Frech (April 23, 2011)

Charles William Frech passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011, at his home. He was born February 3, 1927 to John and Marie (Gulley) Frech in Middleboro, Indiana. He lived in Richmond and Liberty, Indiana and resided the past 38 years in New Madison, Ohio.

He attended Liberty schools and was a Navy Veteran of World War II and the Korean War, receiving an honorable discharge.

Charles was employed at Avco/Precision Products Division, Richmond, Indiana for 25 years. He attended several NC programming classes and retired from Cadillac Gage/Textron, Greenville, Ohio in 1991. Favorite interests included watching NASCAR racing, growing flowers, vegetables and canning.

He was an active member of the New Madison United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking for some of the church’s special events.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda S. (George) Carr of Richmond, Indiana; granddaughters, Julie M. (Nick) Lemming of Seymour, Indiana and Gina M. (Alex) Cue of Oak Park, IL; great-grandchildren; Abigail Lemming, Sarah Lemming, Andrew Lemming, and Logan Cue; sister, Martha (Bob) Sigmon of Richmond, Indiana; half-brother, Steven Frech, and half-sister, Donna Wilmot, both of Centerville, Indiana; close friends, Sandra Cowgill, Michael Cowgill, and Shane Cowgill; and special friend, Jean Baker; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary K. Rubush; brother, Howard Frech; nephew, Gary Rubush; nieces, Sharon Mullinax and Alice Welbaum.
The funeral service with military honors given by the Navy will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2011, at 1:00 pm at Braund Funeral Home, New Madison, Ohio, with Pastor Steve Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Greenmound Cemetery. Friends may call prior to the service from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the funeral home.

Vernon J. Winner (April 23, 2011)

Mr. Vernon J. Winner, age 90 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Saturday April 23, 2011 at 5:25 PM at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio. He was born January 16, 1921 north of Sidney, Ohio, the son of the late Herman and Loretta (Luthman) Winner. He was raised in McCartysville and then spent his adult life in Versailles. He was a Seaman 1st Class in the United States Coast Guard.

He was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church, Versailles, Ohio, member of the Versailles K. of C., member of the Versailles Eagles and American Legion, he was a Distributor and Server for Mass at St. Denis, Former President of VDA, past Chairman of Poultry Days, Past President of Versailles Industrial Park, operated various businesses and restaurants in the area such as: the former Chick Inn Restaurant, in the 50’s along with Bill Bohman owned and operated Frenchies Restaurant in Versailles, owned the Tastee Freeze in Versailles & Piqua, formerly owned Del-Win Lanes (Bowling Lanes), in the 70’s he was personnel Manager for Argosy manufacturing in Versailles & later managed Frenchies & Versailles Hotel for Carl Subler.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Wife: Dorothy F. (Kremer) Winner on June 21 1999 whom he married April 11, 1945; Grandson: Brett A. Oliver; Granddaughter: Michelle (Shelly) Buxton; Brother: Ernest Winner; Sisters: Treva McKim, Mary Ann Schmitmeyer.

He is survived by his sons & daughters in law: Larry & Cheryl Winner of Dublin, Ohio, J.D. Glen Rismiller (April 22, 2011)

Glen Rismiller, age 82 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away on Friday April 22, 2011 at 6:53 PM at the Brethren Retirement community. He was born May 15, 1928 in Darke County, Ohio the son of the late John and Emma (Stuck) Rismiller.

He was a farmer all of his life. He was a lifetime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of North Star, serving in all positions of the church council. He was president of the North Star Fire Department for many years and served on many fund raisers for the York Township and Wayne Hospital Drive.

He is the last of his family having been preceded in death by his parents; Brothers: Homer and Earl Rismiller; sisters: Edith Billenstine and Doris Isenhour.

He leaves his wife of 61 years, Norma J. (Vagedes) Rismiller of Versailles; children and spouses: Brenda and Nick Schwartz, Debbie and John Kettering, Jack and Rhonda Rismiller, Randy and Lily Ruan Rismiller, Lori and Chris Kreifels; 11 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Dorothy Rismiller and brother-in-law: David Isenhour.

Services will be held on Wednesday April 27, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 13495 Greenville St. Mary’s Road, North Star, Ohio with Pastor Laura Shreffler officiating. Anna Elizabeth (Pleiman) Henry (April 22, 2011)

Anna Elizabeth (Pleiman) Henry, age 97 of Versailles, Ohio passed away on Friday April 22, 2011 at 4:08 AM at the Versailles Health Care Center, Versailles, Ohio. She was born April 2, 1914 in McCartyville, Ohio. The daughter of the late Bernard & Mary (Hoying) Pleiman.

A resident of Versailles for 65 years she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, she worked along side her husband on the dairy farm north of Versailles. She was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Henry, whom she married April 29, 1939 and was married to for 69 years. She was a member of St. Denis Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her brothers: Henry, Albin, Leonard, Sylvester, Bernard, and Jerome Pleiman, and sister: Corrine Bornhorst.

Anna is survived by her children: Marilyn and Okey Kennedy of Citrus Springs, Florida, James and Kathy Henry of Tipp City, Ohio, Thomas and Marlene Henry of Hudson, Indiana and Bernice and William Hail of Mason, Ohio; 14 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren; Sisters: Norma Puthoff and Stella Evers and Sisters-in-law: Eileen Pleiman and Sally Pleiman.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday April 26, 2011 at 10:30 AM at St. Denis Catholic Church 14 E. Wood Street, Versailles, Ohio with Rev. Fr. David Vincent Celebrant. Burial will follow on St. Valbert Cemetery. Roy L. Hunt (April 22, 2011)

Roy L. Hunt, 84, of Greenville, formerly of Lake Maloney, North Platte, Nebraska, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Dayton. Mr. Hunt was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on August 20, 1926, the son of the late Roy L. and Rosa (Lambert) Couch. Roy was raised by his Grand Parents and Adoptive Father and Mother Charles and Rosalee Hunt. He was Native American, Muscogee (Creek) Nation, Deer Clan, a 1943 Graduate of North Platte High School. Roy was a member of St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Ithaca; a veteran of the U. S. Navy, member of the Greenville VFW and American Legion. He was a member of the North Platte Masonic Lodge, a 32nd degree Mason, and a member of the Tehama Temple of the Shrine Club. Mr. Hunt held a commercial pilot's license, loved hunting, fishing, and golf and was a wood carver. He was retired 43 year employee of the Union Pacific Railroad in North Platte. Roy was preceded in death by 2 Brothers Jack Couch and Jim Hunt. He is survived by his wife Dorothy (Rosenberg) Hunt, whom he married December 18, 1943; Daughter Mary Flint and husband Frank of Arcanum; 2 Grandchildren Craig Flint and wife Rhonda of Union and Lee Ann Shadowens and husband Mark of Kettering; 4 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandsons. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM on Monday, April 25, 2011 at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Ithaca, with Pastor Joene Herr officiating. Burial will follow at a later date in Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska. The family will receive relatives and friends Monday 1 hour before the time of services at St. Matthew Lutheran Church.

Phillip C. Benge (April 21, 2011)

Phillip C. Benge, 59, of Ansonia, passed away Thursday evening April 21, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton.

He was born January 7, 1952 in Dayton, OH, son of the late Henry and Lois Madge (Shook) Benge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Arthur Benge.

Phillip spent most of his life as a truck driver for many different companies. He was a veteran having served during the Vietnam Era.

He is survived by his daughters, Amanda Benge, and Kacey (Grady) Benge-Caldwell; grandchildren, Kylie Caldwell, Levi Griffith, and Maicie Griffith; brothers and sisters, Willard "Gene" (Cheryl) Clouse, Terry (Cheryl) Benge, Linda (Tim) Burnfield, and Patty Stigman; and several nieces and nephews.

Private service with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held at Shook's Cemetery near Rossburg.

There will be no public visitation.

Arlene L. York (April 20, 2011)

Arlene L. York, age 84 of Greenville, Ohio passed away on Wednesday April 20, 2011 at 2:33 PM at Gade Heath Care Center, Greenville, Ohio.

She was born September 29, 1926 near Dawn, Ohio to the late Earl & Sylvia (Burns) York. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, June O. York.

Arlene was retired from Fram Corp. and a dairy herd that she and her sister June had managed since the death of their father in 1957. Prior to her stay at Gade Health Care Center, she had lived at the home farm near Greenville for 70 years. Arlene enjoyed many different hand crafts and the making of decorations for her home. She also attended Trinity Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her sister Vernita (Max) Longfellow Hamilton of Greenville; a nephew, Steve (pat) Longfellow, a niece, Jana (Jeff) Boudouris of Centerville; two great nephews, Doug (Kelli) Longfellow of Greenville and Ryan Boudouris of Centerville; one great niece, Jeannie (Aaron) Longfellow Reid of New London, Minnesota; three great-great nephews, Gregory, Daniel, and Jonathon Reid of New London, Minnesota; two great-great nieces, Hope Reid, New London, Minnesota, and Aleta Longfellow of Greenville.

Private services are planned under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio. The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Trinity Wesleyan Church Building Fund, Greenville, Ohio.

Hazel M. Matthieu (April 20, 2011)

Hazel M. Matthieu age 97 of Versailles, Ohio, passed away at 4:15 P.M. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Hazel was born February 20, 1914 in Darke County, Ohio, to the late John & Iva (Fosnaugh) Rue.
Hazel formerly worked at Buckeye Overall Company in Versailles for several years. She was a member of Versailles United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, Hazel is also preceded in death by her daughters, Roberta & Dorothy Matthieu; brothers, William, Basil, Robert, Richard, Lester and Gerald Rue; sister, Alma Gasson; and half brothers, Herman, Robert and John Gasson.
Hazel is survived by a sister, Golda Matthieu of Versailles and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Bailey Zechar Funeral Home in Versailles with Pastor Rick Gutheil officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery in Versailles. The family will receive friends on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Sherri D. (Drew) McClellan (April 18, 2011)

Sherri D. (Drew) McClellan, 59, of Hollansburg, passed away on April 18, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton. Sherri was born on December 29, 1951 to the late Ralph and Juanita (Williams) Drew.

Sherri was a graduate of New Madison Schools and retired from FRAM after 37 years of service in Greenville as an assembly worker. She loved to crochet, play cards such as euchre and pinochle, mushroom hunt, go fishing and enjoyed collecting Coca Cola memorabilia. Sherri loved to cook and was mostly known for her delicious fudge and cheese cakes. She was a big fan of NASCAR and Dale Earnhart Jr. Sherri enjoyed going to flea markets, and watching old westerns and soap opera’s on TV. However, her greatest love was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Sherri is preceded in death by a brother, Steve Drew; two great nephews, Damion and Dakota; her father-in-law, Earl McClellan and mother-in-law, Virginia McClellan.

Sherri is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” D. McClellan of 17 years; two daughters, Samantha (Roger) Billups and Bobbie Sue Hampshire; three grandchildren, Roberta Joellen “Joey” (Jason) Yost, Benjamin Joseph Hampshire and Kirsten Renee Hampshire; two great grandchildren, Shannon Renee Yost and Jason Scott Yost, Jr.; a brother, Ronnie (Joy) Drew; two sister, Shirley (Ernie) Spurrier, and Marsha Spurrier ; her mother-in-law, Patty Louk; three sister-in-laws, Linda Drew, Shirley (Rob) Cummoms and Tammy (Jim) Suttles; four brother-in-laws, Ron McClellan, Fred McClellan, Mark (Barb) McClellan and Mike (Wendy) McClellan; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 5-8 PM at Braund Funeral Home in New Madison. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2011 also at the funeral home with the Rev. Eric Fee being asked to officiate. Robert James Lucas (April 18, 2011)

Robert James Lucas, age 50, of Verona, Ohio, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 8:45 PM at his residence. He was born on January 11, 1961 in Dayton, Ohio, to Joyce (Temple) Cole of Verona, Ohio, and the late William Lucas.
Robert had a very strong faith with the Lord and touched many lives. His life was a witness and testament to the Lord.
In addition to his father he is preceded in death by his brother, Steven Lucas.
He is survived by his mother; daughter, Marie Nicole Lucas of Fort Myers, Florida; 1 brother; 4 sisters; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Margaret Jane Cole (April 17, 2011)

Margaret Jane Cole, age 80, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Heartland of Kettering. She was born on September 9, 1930 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Dr. Jeffries G. Cole and Martha (Griffin) Cole.
She worked as a Dental Assistant for Dr. Cale Logsdon for 23 years and also worked at Elder-Beerman for 32 years. She was a 1949 graduate of Greenville High School.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her twin sister, Barbara Jean Miller.
She is survived by her brother, James G. Cole of Middletown, Ohio; step mother, Glenna (Morrison) Cole of Greenville; step sister, Sheryl Gartner of Cincinnati, Ohio; niece, Martha Jane Ouimet of Austin, Texas; great nephew and niece, Matthew Cole and Emily Jean Ouimet.
There will be a graveside service held on Thursday, April 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Palestine Cemetery, Palestine, Ohio, with Pastor Don Myers officiating. There will be no public visitation. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home, Greenville, Ohio.

Erma M. Breymier (April 16, 2011)

Erma M. Breymier, 92, of Versailles and formerly of Ansonia, passed away early Saturday morning, April 16, 2011 at the Versailles Health Care Center in Versailles.

She was born October 16, 1918 in Jay County, IN, daughter of the late Harry C. and Elymira (Armstrong) Bickel. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul H. Breymier on Sept. 30, 1994, and a sister, Onda Beasley.

Erma was a homemaker and helped her husband on the family farm. She had sold Shaklee Vitamins for over 30 years. She was a member of the Ansonia Christian Church and the women's fellowship of the church for over 50 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Connie (fiancee, Herb Hoening) of Versailles; two grandchildren, Chris (Kim) Barnhardt of Sylvania, OH, and Nicole (Gerardo) Hernandez of Troy.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, April 20 at the Springhill Cemetery in Ft. Recovery with Pastor Lowell Miller officiating.

There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the either the Versailles Health Care Center or State of the Heart Hospice.

Mary Margaret Trissel age 84 of Greenville, Ohio, passed away at 9:35 P.M. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Gade Health Care Center in Greenville. Mary was born May 8, 1926 in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Charles A. & Retta A. (Godown) Richardson.
Mary was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Mary is also preceded in death by her husband, James L. Trissel Sr.; sisters, Isabelle Tinkham, Daisy Frances Enichs, Patricia Pepple and Nancy Cromwell; and a brother, Charles A. Richardson.
Mary is survived by her children, James L. Trissel Jr. of Westerville, Rebecca Trissel of Englewood and Scott (Sharon) Trissel of Greenville; grandchildren, Michelle Trissel of Conklin, Michigan, Shawn (the late Mendy) Trissel of Greenville, Stacy (Dara) Trissel of Versailles and Joshua (CeCe) Trissel of Westerville; great grandchildren, Caysee Trissel, Chelsee Bursma and Carlee Bursma of Conklin, Michigan, Amanda Trissel, Kyle Trissel, Wyatt Trissel and Taylor Trissel of Greenville, Victoria Grisez, Hannah Grisez, Josiah Grisez, Lila Grisez and Maris Trissel of Versailles; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 18, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens Greenville, with Bill Miller officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville.

Wyatt Paul Farmer (April 14, 2011)

Wyatt Paul Farmer, infant son of Greg Aaron and Ameila Mae (Morrison) Farmer, passed away on April 14, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital.

In addition to his parents, Wyatt is survived by two brothers, Jackson Andrew Farmer and Levi Joseph Farmer; paternal grandparents, Brett & Ruth Farmer of Englewood; maternal grandparents, Paul & Marilyn Morrison of New Madison; paternal great grandparents, Jack Farmer of West Milton and Joe and Johnnie Bouck of West Milton; maternal great grandparents Wanda Bright of Greenville and Phyllis Cheeks of Arcanum; three aunts, Mandy Lipps of Lewisburg, Ashley (Shelby) Shilt of Coldwater and Stephanie Coehick of Englewood; one uncle, Jeremy (Tammy) Morrison of Greenville; 7 cousins, Dalton, Alexis, Breanna, Kaeden, Cooper, Alexis and Elizabeth.

Wyatt is preceded in death by two great grandfathers, Leon Bright and Paul Morrison; and a great grandmother, Shirley Farmer.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Castine Church of the Brethren with the Rev. Greg Hyer being asked to officiate. Burial will follow in Otterbien Cemetery.

Mary H. Shull (April 14, 201)

Mary H. Shull, age 84 of Greenville, Ohio and formerly of Boaz, Alabama passed away at 4:30 A.M. Thursday April 14, 2011 at the Heartland Nursing Home Greenville, Ohio. Mary was born June 2, 1926 in Zepher Hill, Florida. She was the daughter of the late John H. and Betty (Carroll) Smith Sr.

Mary was retired from Anchor Hocking Glass of Winchester, Indiana. She was a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary of Boaz, Al. and the Alder Springs Baptist Church of Albertville, Alabama.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. Shull; step son Gene Shull; 4 brothers and 5 sisters.

Mary is survived by a step son Jerry (Judy) Shull of Muncie, Indiana, Brother John H. Shull Jr. of Alabama as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:30 P.M. Monday April 18, 2011 in the Zechar Bailey Funeral Home Greenville, Ohio with Pastor Toni Henninger officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 5:30 P.M. until time of the services in the Greenville funeral home.

Also services will be scheduled at 2:00 P.M. Friday April 22, 2011 in the Albertville Funeral Home Albertville, Alabama with the Pastor Jamie Perigo officiating. Burial will follow in the Marshall Memorial Gardens of Albertville, Alabama. A visitation will also be held on Friday from 12 Noon until time of the services in the Albertville Funeral Home.

Phyllis M. Honeycutt (April 14, 2011)

Phyllis M. Honeycutt age 54 of Laurel, Indiana, passed away at 10:17 A.M. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at her residence. Phyllis was born August 13, 1956 in Mercer County, Ohio, to the late Paul & Ruth (Huelskamp) Borger.
Phyllis was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Phyllis is also preceded in death by a grandson, Ethan Michael Lumpkin; brothers, Ronald and Bill Borger; and sisters, Pauline Kaiser and Mary Jane Creamer.

Paul Richard Baker (April 12, 2011)

Paul Richard Baker, 81, of Greenville, passed away on April 12, 2011 at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville. Paul was born on December 10, 1929 in Greenville to the late Vern and Ruby (Coover) Baker.
Paul worked for Hamilton Motors in Greenville as a Parts Manager for 16 years and also worked in the sales department for 10 years. Paul enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and helping his wife in the garden. He and his wife enjoyed spending the winters in Florida for 28 years.
In addition to his parents, Paul is preceded in death by his sister, Doris Brewer.
Paul is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Thelma (Hollinger) Baker, whom he married on January 22, 1949; two sons, Gary (Irene) Baker of Lebanon, Ohio and Dennis (Pat) Baker of Gettysburg, Ohio; a brother Lowell Baker of Metamora, Illinois; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Braund Funeral Home in New Madison with the Rev. Bill Baker being asked to officiate. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the funeral service. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery.
