She was born September 25, 1926, in Plymouth, Michigan, to the late James and Madeline DeShayes.
In addition to her parents, Madeline was preceded in death by her husband, Frank A. Price, Jr.; her son, Steve R. Price; her granddaughter, Angela Price; her sisters, Helen, Dorothy, Eileen, Jean, Bernice, Joan, Carolyn, and Pat; her brothers, Casey, Jack, Eddie, and J.R.
Madeline worked for Twin Valley South School’s kitchen staff with 28 years of service. She enjoyed creating ceramics and her art pieces were displayed at the Twin Valley South School’s display cases during holidays.
Madeline is survived by her sons, Michael Price and his wife, Debbie, of West Alexandria, and Frank Price and his wife, Linda, of Bellbrook, Ohio; her daughter-in-law, Andra Price of Dayton; her grandchildren, Tony (Geneva) Price, Nicki Price, Natalie (Ben) Welch, Amanda Price, Stephanie (Joe) Cantrell, and Maury Reynolds; her great grandchildren, Emma, Josie, and Amelia Price, Claire and Connor Welch, Jordan, Taylor, and C.J. Williams, Michael Campbell, Zack, Maddie, and Mackenzie Cantrell, and Jackson and Lucy Reynolds; her brother, Bob (Billie) DeShayes; her sister-in-law, Lois DeShayes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Fairview Cemetery in West Alexandria with Pastor Tony Price officiating.
The family has entrusted Tribute Funeral Homes with the final arrangements.
