Jake C. Lawson, 87, of Arcanum, died Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. Mr. Lawson was born in Lee County, Virginia on November 6, 1922, the son of the late John and Marie (Hinkle) Lawson. He worked as a Mill Operator at Dayton Tire and Rubber Company retiring August 1, 1978. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Army. Jake was preceded in death by his wife Mary (Gosnell) Lawson, Brothers and Sisters. He is survived by his daughter Gloria Meyer and husband Rex of Arcanum; Grandson Monte Meyer of Arcanum; Great Grandson Eli Meyer; many Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Services will be held 7:00 PM on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the Kreitzer Funeral Home, Arcanum with Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Interment will be private at convenience of the family in Ithaca Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends Friday 6 - 7 PM at the funeral home.
