Marilyn M. Kenworthy, 58, of Ansonia passed away Sunday, May 16, 2010 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio.
She was born October 30, 1951 in Suffolk, VA, daughter of the late Murl and Virgie Simons. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Murl Simons, Jr.
Marilyn had worked at Lambert's in Ansonia and had done home health care for several years. She was most known for operating Kenworthy Auction Service in Greenville.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Gerald S. Kenworthy whom she married June 15, 1974; sons, David (Christina) Kenworthy of Piqua and George (friend Rhonda) Kenworthy of Greenville; grandchildren, Carrisa Hershey, Ben Mendenhall, Dustin Kenworthy, Katelyn Kenworthy, Cheyenne Reppond, Sarah Cote and Natasha Kenworthy; brothers and sisters, Roger (Debbie) Simons of Greenville, David Simons of Florida, Haywood Simons of North Carolina, Fred (Lena) Simons, Diane Gross, Mary Stivers, Rosetta Simons and Loretta Simons all of Kentucky; and numerous nieces and nephews.
There will be no services. The family requests that memorial contributions be given in memory of Marilyn to either the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Services have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.
