Helen Jeannine Fisher went home to heaven to meet her Savior and join her husband for eternity on May 13, 2010. Jeannine was born to Paul Anders & Helen (Brown) Anders-Reeves on January 28, 1936 in Union City, Indiana.
Jeannine married Ted Fisher on September 22, 1957 and began their married life together farming. Jeannine was a homemaker all her life. Jeannine was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Her family was the love of her life. Jeannine leaves to cherish her memory, a son, Brian (Lisa) Fisher of Union City, Indiana; daughters, Jody (Steve) Oberer of Greenville and Leanne (Scott) Goble of Granger, Indiana; her mother, Helen Reeves of Greenville; sister, Betty Ross of Greenville; step sister, Janet (Bob) Byrum of Arizona; brothers-in-law, Leonard (Janice) Fisher of Union City, Indiana and Wayne (Trish) Fisher of Ft. Recovery; granddaughter, Kristen (Mat) McConnell of Albany, Indiana; grandson, David Fisher; step granddaughters, Amy Schwendeman and Ashlee Smith; and step great grandchildren, Chance McConnell, Abby and Jacob Smith.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Zechar Bailey Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio, with Pastor Bruce Bryan and Chaplain Bob Bitner officiating. Burial will follow in Lisbon Cemetery in Union City, Indiana. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Gideon’s International, the Brethren Retirement Community Resident Aid Fund, American Cancer Society or State of the Heart Hospice.
